Dude, do you even have a team? I mean, this obsession you have with me and Page and Lewis county is beyond stalkish. It’s bordering mental.

Since you two knuckleheads want to keep going in circles, why is it Hohenwald is 6-1 but yet not ranked? I’m asking this because any other year, with a 6-1 record, they would be.

Evidently, I need to have it saved in a clip board because that would be much, much easier and faster! Especially since you and others cannot defend it!

I'm not sure if resurgence is the correct word as I only remember Cornersville having one good season in the mid-nineties and, that was back in '94. Rumors back then were kids transferring from Lewisburg. The record shows last year as a down year from back to back state championship game appearances. I am curious as to their success as of late. It has to be difficult to build a program that was not accustom to that much success, in a short time span. Is the success due to people moving in from out of state or coaching or transfers from Lewisburg? If this has already been discussed, my apologies. Personally, I think it is good to have and field a competitive program. Their game this week against Fayetteville has made me think of this. From my understanding, Fayetteville incorporates kids that would have gone to Lincoln County and that has aided in their success. Back in the day, it was rumored that Moore Co. and McCurry owed a lot of their success to kids from Winchester and/or Tullahoma coming over. However, I thought McCurry was a good coach.

The AP poll has not ranked Lewis County in the top-10 since August 23rd, the week of the Fayetteville game! Could it be that they have finally caught on to the #paperchampion moniker that is Lewis County? Could it be that they finally have realized that Lewis County is ALWAYS over ranked and it's their votes? I mean, LC has only one loss on the year. One. Only one. That is perhaps normal but mostly at the end of the season of season pasts but yet, even though they only have one loss so far this year, they are still not ranked. If they roll into next week at 7-1 after beating 3-4 Scotts Hill, will they finally crack the top-10 again? You gotta give those guys who are AP voters credit. They see the light that is the Lewis County football program and what it really is.

So, what you are stating is, Richland is actually good now or, for a change? I'm telling you, I cannot make this stuff up even if I had an empty room with four walls and a door! This is why they are not on Hohenwald's schedule or region? Because they are good? I am willing to almost bet anything Hohenwald has reached out to them as soon as they were bumped up to 2A!!! Knowing how Hohenwald is, they prolly were reaching out to them while they were still in 1A!!!! This is just incredible!

My bad, I guess I need to correct or clarify my earlier statements. Top 10 #paperchampions Hohenwald always looks good on paper but very seldom, if ever, on the field unless it's a basketball school, a start up program or a notoriously terrible program, hence, look at their yearly schedule. If we had the same "type" of schedule year in and year out, we would be a fake program, consistently ranked in the top 10 and #paperchampions too!

I still wish we could have played GC. I think it would have better prepared us and, I honestly think it would have been a fun and exciting game to watch. Can't believe this Covid thing is still a problem!

I just looked at Richlands schedule and yep, just as I thought. You are talking about a football team that got beat by Summertown, a girls basketball school! Lol Can my point(s) be made any more clearer? Better?

Oh, my bad. I guess when it comes to which poll one wants to use, you can pretend to utilize the one that suits you the best. Sorta like how the paper champions from Hohenwald do with their schedule. Curious though, what’s the longest record Hohenwald has had for not being ranked?

So far, Lewis County is sporting a 6-1 record for the season and a perfect region record. Thoughts? Page rolls in at number four for 5A.

Bold playoff prediction here: If they can slip past Riverside at the end of the season, they at least make it to the second round but as in the past decade, no further. If the don’t that places them against the third seed from whichever region. So, unless it’s some basketball school such as Summertown, they will prolly be knocked out in first round.

I don’t think PC is with some of the great teams of the past but they are still good. MC is not bad either but, PC is PC and will win the second half.
