They don’t do the right thing a lot of the time. I saw some video last season of a Whitwell player playing in an all star game before the season started. It was a violation but nothing was done. It’s a classic example of them picking and choosing.

The TSSAA picks and chooses who they go after. Whitwell is a great example last season. They had a kid that played in an all star game before last season as he was going into his senior season. The game was was streamed live. Nothing was done about him and the rest is history.

How many prospects do they have?

You have some really nice looking athletes from what I saw along with some really large linemen. I believe that will be a great game if it happens.

I think I see what you might be trying to do. I think we have a very good team this year. I have heard Greenback is very good as well. I haven’t seen you play other than things I see here on the Internet. It sounds like you are an awesome team as well.

I like our chances in this one.

Yea but real karma would have been them not winning a state title last season with a player that should have been ineligible the entire season for playing in an all star game before his senior year. That would have been karma.

SP originally had a pretty tough schedule as well. We just didn’t get to play Red Bank. At the end of the day Red Bank and Loudon is pretty close. Both teams played Meigs County. Sequatchie County is as good as any of the rest of the teams you played. Huntland is as good as someone like Oliver Springs or Rockwood. I don’t think anyone in the state thought Whitwell was going to be terrible either. I’m still not sure what happened there with all of their linemen coming back from last year. Then we both have a fair share of just really bad teams too.

Obviously these kids dads are on here posting as well. lol

Greenback with 3 possible Mr. Football finalists on the same team. Has this ever been done before? I really believe in this SP team this season but I also must agree with some others. Any one that cant win it all with that kind of talent would raise some questions. Someone had to be living right in Greenback when that QB came to town because he made them a big time favorite this year.

How would that work? That would be only 16 teams? So the season would be shorter I guess?

I really enjoyed the Meigs and SP game a few weeks ago. Meigs has a good team to say the least. Good luck this week but you won’t be needing it against the Polksters.

Gordonsville seems to be having a disappointing year. This is a big game for you. Your third place team might be able to beat Copper Basin and advance. The loser has no chance at South Pitt in round one though.

I was looking at some playoff possibilities. It’s possible we see both of these teams in the playoffs. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out. Looking at some scores I will go with Monterey by 17.

That’s a big statement. Greenback could beat us but they won’t be mercy ruling us. I can assure you.

You will have to excuse me. I haven’t posted long. I see now you were being funny with your other post. I agree with all points in this one. Those semifinal games on both sides of the state should be awesome games.

You should beat them easily. To be frank they are pretty horrible.

Maybe but when you think about it. It shouldn’t take something us fans say on a message board to get anyone ready for a semifinal game. Greenback has an impressive team though for sure.

The Pirates are looking sharp. I was impressed with our QB play again. I know Whitwell isn’t good but it’s the best we’ve been throwing the ball in sometime. Also did I read correctly? The reserves gave up a 80 yard touchdown run late? Besides that run Whitwell had less than 20 total yards?
