All Weakley Co. teams that are not under quarantine will be playing Friday night. I think Gleason is the only team that will not be playing.

I think Westview's defense will be much improved over last few seasons. Which it needs to be. They have a really good DC this year that is really working with them. They are still really young starting 2 seniors, 4 juniors, and 5 sophomores. They have not been tested yet but I like what I've seen and hope they keep getting better. But if this defense does catch on and gets better you better believe Westview will be tougher than years past.

Why did Milan announce this morning that they are dropping attendance from 1500 down to 1000 people total? They also said no TSSAA passes would be honored.

It looks like a good possibility that UC and Westview will start playing each other again starting next year. Westview's numbers have been close to 2A numbers for a while now. Huge chance after this years count Westview falls to 2A next year. It will be close but from what I've heard they will be between 510-530 range.

Portland is not that good but Westview did have Gibson Co 41-0 at halftime and Westview didn't play starters 2nd half. Gibson Co is in a rebuilding year also so we still don't really know how improved Westview is. But it does appear that Westview is improved on defense.

Westview is still a young team. I believe Westview started 2 seniors, 4 juniors, and 5 sophomores on defense. Westview didn't show much on offense because it was 21-0 after 1 quarter. The score was 47-6 and Westview backed off early and i believe they could have scored in the 60's or 70's. I'm in no way saying Westview will keep having that kind of lopsided wins but Portland is not that good from what I saw.

Westview travels to Portland on Friday night but we would have loved to been able to play Union City.
