Not sure NE has much of a choice. There are rules in place to protect the players and fans. Wouldn't be surprised if Kenwood had extra tickets because they couldn't sell out their home allotment. Don't know for certain but that would be my guess....doesn't matter anyway because HC rolls. NE hasn't played anyone like the Patriots yet.

Wish we saw more of this in Middle Tennessee. Although several potential contenders are dealing with covid/contact tracing issues.

West is preparing for the playoffs by scheduling this game. I love it! Even if they're a little banged up they will come play. Catholic better play their best game to beat West. Because the West defense and run game is deadly. Scheduling like this is how you prepare for a state championship run.

Oakland wins a rematch but Riverdale's defensive front is legit. They're nasty and a handful for anyone

Admittedly I haven't seen both play just Gallatin. I know Hendersonville is always tough and will be well prepared. Gallatin must be way down if Hendersonville is 3-4 TD's better. Looking for another game to go watch now that Shelbyville/Summit is off. But that's a long drive but might be worth it.

Couldn't agree more on both points. No doubt both teams couldn't wait to play then the rug gets pulled out from under both teams. Doesn't look like they can reschedule either. Summit has an opening next week but Shelbyville has 2 region games week 10 & 11. I can definitely see them meeting in round 3 although Beech will have a lot of say in that

With 2 weeks to prepare Henry County will roll. Only a few 5A teams in the Midstate that can compete with Henry County. Beech, Summit, Shelbyville, and Hillsboro are the ones that come to mind right away. Shelbyville has really improved and Hillsboro is unknown because of covid and the limited schedule but they gave Beech and Pearl all they could handle

Creek Wood keeps rolling....CW 35 WH 14. As long as they stay focused and aren't looking ahead to the Springfield game in 2 weeks they should be undefeated heading into that game

Big fan of Riverdale and the work the players and staff have done this year. Glad to see Riverdale playing at a high level. But Oakland is just too much, they win 42-21

I'm going Bobcats in this one. Green Hill will be a team to deal with in the next few years but edge to the Bobcats and the multiple looks they'll give the Green Hill defense. Bobcats 35-21

Highly competitive, rivalry game. I think most people are down on Gallatin, especially some of the Green Wave faithful, but they've played a tough schedule. Hard to repeat last year's performance but I'm going with the Wave and Coach Watson pulling the upset 24-21.
