OR got a first class coach, this last year at Lewis Co has been the one of the best I can ever remember. I want to be mad that he’s leaving but I can’t because I have so much respect for Coach Rang. The kids loved him and he’s one of the smartest coaches I’ve ever been around. He’s only been here a year but I dare say most future coaches will be measured against him. Good luck OR and Coach Rang.

That was also Lewis CO’s first game under a new coach and totally new system. It took them a few games to adjust.

Probably one of the best high school games I’ve ever watched. Awesome win for Lewis Co.

Looks like it’s going to be a wet sloppy night for football. I’m sure this will affect both team’s game plan for tonight. I have no clue what to expect tonight, or which Lewis Co team will show up. I just hope for an injury free game for both teams.

Appreciate the common sense used by most people on this board. I along with most people on here from Lewis co have that buffoon on ignore so I can’t see what that idiot is saying. I just assume it’s the same dribble he’s spewed for years. I’m a realist, I understand where Lewis Co is in the pecking order of high school football, we will consistently compete with the likes of Riverside and Forrest, which usually results in a 2nd round exit from the playoffs with the occasional visit to 3rd round. We are a small county with a very limited talent pool to pull from just like Forrest and Riverside. It says a lot that their coaches along with Sharp are constantly on that level knowing that there are always “down years” (as stupid likes to say).

Not saying they will or will not. That’s why they play the game.

Lewis Co has improved tremendously from week 1. 10/29 will be a very good game.

Yes he had 3 td receptions, Brycen McDonald had 3 td passes. Blake Carroll had a good night rushing. Kael Feightenger had a big night defensively and rushing.

Tough loss. Fayetteville is everything everyone said they were. The Peabody/City Semi will be a heck of a game. LC will bounce back, a lot to learn from this game.

I agree with ddaddy on Lewis Co this year. Look forward to Friday night just to see where we are, don’t think I’ve ever been as unsure about a LC team good or bad like I am this year. I do know this freshman qb seems to be the real deal, just wonder if it takes him a year or so to really click. He certainly has the arm. Fayetteville will be a really big test for them, hopefully the defense gels a little better this week. Seemed like they were just a little off in the first game. As far as the pizza boy goes I think most people from LC just ignore him. His shtick got real old and really predictable real quick. Apparently Sharp hurt his feelings at one time.

That whole team is good not to take anything away from Grant at all, he is a very good player. Drake Blackwood is one name I can’t forget because he hit 2 bombs against us in both games we played them that have still not landed. Best Summertown team I’ve seen in a long time and they’ve had some really good teams.

Andrew Lawson, DC at Lewis Co is another to keep an eye on.

Yes that night they were quite a bit slower than normal, here I go making excuses but the field was pretty wet that night.
