Their defense will be good no matter what they put out there. I know most of their key players on offense are the big boys and the cooper kid.

Watertown returns some lineman and RB that are good. Westy returns a lot of good players especially #27 Gray with Kittrell too. ER looses Taylor Groves, Cam Cope, and Luckett. Return 4/5 starters on O line and both RB’s. Craig at quarterback worked for them and he’s coming back next year too.

Region could go to any of the top 4 teams from this year next year imo

ER would make it to the semis if they were in Forrest region. Lol

ER drops one to Gordonsville, played horrible. If caton doesn’t fix this we will be an early exit in regions. Way too much size and talent to play that bad.

Broadrick from GHS would be the front runner if I had to guess

Wish ER was on this side of the bracket, they would be playing in the 3rd round instead of sitting at home watching TC and H20 go at it again

Gordonsville, ER, Pickett Co, and Clay Co all have preseason praise. Excited to see how that region tournament plays out

I’m familiar with West Carrol having the Anglin kid, he can play. I know they lost some guards so I wasn’t sure how they would be

Clay Co returns everyone from their team last year but 1 person, Pickett has the twins that are commited to UAH so they’ll be a tough out. East has Groves coming back who’s a 1000 point scorer and hasn’t played since his sophomore year and some other starters. Gville had a solid team last year, who are they returning?

1A favorites? I know MAHS, Clay Co, Picket Co, and East Robertson are early favorites. Any others?

Huckabey will be a good college football player at a Lindsey Wilson or somewhere like that. Groves is going to Ole Miss for defense though. He also has a big punt return last night too. Is huckabey going to college as Offense/Defense or Punter? He was a REALLY GOOD punter when they needed him to punt

Groves had 85 yards receiving and 21 yards rushing with a TD against the 1’s. He ended up with 117 total yards in the game. On defense yall practically ran away from him the whole game. The 2 times y’all ran at him he stripped carrol and the other one he stripped and recovered the fumble. Huckabey had a pass interference call on groves too. The interception he got on groves was on a 4th and 12 play so it was as good as a punt. #15 is a remarkable athlete but he is no where near the force groves is. Goodluck to yall the rest of the season and bring a gold ball back to Decatur!!

Seen both play and TC’s defense is better than Meigs. TC 22 Meigs 20

If ER finds a qb next year they will have a shot at making a run imo. They will return 8/11 starters on offense just loosing their TE, RT, and Groves of course. Offense should be improved for next year.

We’ve always had a lot of respect for Watertown and how they’ve ran their program. We think we’re on our way to competing with the TC’s and Watertown’s of 2A. People around the program are starting to care more, hoping we have a healthy season next year and play a great game vs y’all next year. Pond at ER has always had his players back and helped them get a chance to play college ball. We hope he starts winning with our boys on the field!

If he plays against tc i think ER may have won. ER was missing around 4 starters against them. If he played against H20 I think it’s a 2 score game and not over after the 1st quarter

Our boys are leaving at 10 am to head down there so I’m sure it’s a long drive

Westmoreland, ER, Tyner are all better than the teams from that Forrest region

In the past 4 years not a single team has done well with not doubling Groves. If y’all only put 1 on him he will make some plays.
