Long time from now, but what teams will be bringing back the most talent in 1A & 2A?
Just based off of what I know I’d have to throw in:
1A - South Pitt and McKenzie
2A - East Nashville, Milan, and MASE
Any dark horses?
And I promise you Comer never had the athletes at McKenzie that he does at Milan. He didn't leave a good McKenzie team for nothing. I knew Comer would be scary with Milan once he got it turned around. Didnt think he'd do it in 4 months lol
Don’t think Huntingdon losing to a tough Milan team in the quarterfinals at Johnnie Hale Stadium would constitute “choking.”
Would take losing Friday over being a Forrest fan though that is for certain.
How are you so sure the talent at Huntingdon the past 10-12 years could win a state championship? What are the gauges being used to dictate these beliefs?
Definitely not worth your time. You guys have a heck of a team. Those boys and the McK community will never forget the 3 straight championship appearances (and going to be a handful again next year)
Don't get ahold of yourself. We are in TSSAA... its all about money not about the kids. If it was about the kids they would be playing in Knoxville or Nashville.
My prediction, South Pitt takes control early and jumps up 2 scores with their dominating power run and occasional jet sweeps to the edge. However, Coomer makes adjustments and McK finds receivers open all over the field to march back. Final score - McK 31 SP 24
After keeping up with both teams and watching a few games of each, I would have to give UC the edge in the rematch. #5 Arnold was built for games like this. I’d give him at least 20 touches right up the gut then hit them with #7 Jones on the edge.
