  1. Only not eligible in football. Other sports are eligible and have a majority of the issues.
  2. First thing not a Beech fan, not a Gallatin fan, not a SC fan. Dont know if coaches or admin were asked to falsify. Here is what I have heard. Number of out of zone transfers for all sports is double digits coming from at least 4 schools. I have heard out of zone middle school athletes have been contacted. Since no out of zone transfers have been allowed in the county in the past 2 years why are are these being allowed. No problem if you move into the LC zone .
  3. Any admission charge for the Hville- Blackman scrimmage this coming Friday? Thanks
  4. 2 to 2. MJ scored on a long TD run by Throneberry and short TD run by the RB. Hville scored on a 70 yd run by soph QB Caleb Sams and a 40 yd run by Stevin Mack. After that they went to speciality situations, goal line and 20 yards and in, didn’t track that as I was watching the freshman teams at the other end. Overall I thought Throneberry looked pretty good running and throwing. MJ had success running outside not so much inside. Both teams need work on tackling. Hville moved the ball pretty consistently on the ground using both Baker and Sams at QB.
  5. Sat out last year due to transfer. Played in JV games.
  6. Mt Juliet returns their best 5 or 6 players. Throneberry missed most of the season last year with a collarbone injury. He is a difference maker. Started 5 games at QB as a freshman. I expect it to be Henry County and them from the West. Other than Gallatin their non region schedule is soft. I will see them next Friday when they scrimmage Hendersonville. Forgot they play Lebanon . Lebanon is really good.

  8. Hendersonville Fri 7-29 Mt Juliet at home Fri 8-5 Blackman at Blackman Fri. 8-12. Macon Co. jamboree Due to the heat may start later than 6pm. Heard MJ has a transfer RB from MBA. Add him to Throneberry, Daniyan, Bussell, and Crisp . Should be a top 5 in the state team. Be interesting to see if they leave Throneberry at QB or start the sophomore. Throneberry is an elite athlete who has played QB, WR, and RB.
  9. Just saw where the Michigan St commit Demetrius Bell went back to McGavock. With all of the talent the Blaze have at WR no big deal, right?
  10. Hendersonville Fri 7-29 Mt Juliet at home Fri 8-5 Blackman at Blackman Fri. 8-12. Macon Co. jamboree
  11. Doesn’t look like a lot of research was done on the non RUCO and WILCO regions. Just like last year a team from region 5 will play a WILCO team in the state semis. Beech, Gallatin, or Hendersonville will be that team. The thing that helps the 3 Sumner Co. teams is that they all play tough schedules unlike some of the other regions.
  12. 1 more thing. Several teams had significant coaching losses. Beech- lost 4 assistant coaches Gallatin- lost 2 assistant coaches Station Camp- lost 2 assistant coaches Hville- lost 1 assistant coach
  13. Don’t know about most improved. Here is my take: 6A Beech- key returnees JP Courtney, Bronco Hanks, Tyler Nix Gallatin- key returnees Merriwether, Cook, Brinkley Hville- key returnees Mack, Mason Baker Whichever team develops the offensive and defensive lines the best will win the district. All 3 teams have very difficult schedules, Gallatin out of district plays MJ, Blackman, and Lebanon, all preseason top 10 teams. Hville plays Oakland , defending 5A KY state champion South Warren, and Ravenwood. Beech plays Henry County, Summit, Springfield, and Brentwood. 5A Station Camp- key returnee Dickens Portland- key returnees, entire offensive backfield Both of these teams make the playoffs, finishing 3rd or 4th in their district
  14. Portland at Hendersonville Tuesday May 10th at 6pm
  15. Or be like Wilco where the county paid for every school to have turf. Not every county has the money to do that.
  16. The cutoff in BB, softball and baseball to be 3A is 700. Not sure they will get to that number.
  17. I know they are people are unhappy at SC about him. I don’t do a lot of Coach bashing. I have friends at every school and know a lot of coaches at various schools. Male and female coaches at high schools do a lot of work and don’t get paid a lot of money
  18. He has some good years and some not so good years. Probably in his mind time for a change. Gets to be AD which will mean a few more dollars. I know they will be 3A in football, what about basketball, 2A?
  19. Seth Massey named as head coach and athletic director
  20. Kari Douglas was named as head coach today
  21. Saw this morning that she has resigned at Green Hill. Outstanding coach, good luck to her!
