I think Gordy, along with us, is the team to beat in the East this year. I don’t know anything about SC, but considering the rival and it’s the first game, this will be close at first then Gordy pulls it out in the 2nd half wearing them down. Gordy by 3 scores

I’m thinking Polk will be improved returning several I think, but Basin will control the clock leading most of the game by 1 score and pull it out late by 2 scores

I had been wondering how this all would count up. It’s ok. I’m just glad we figured it out before any more mess. Great job coaches for being on top of it. I’d say when it was all scheduled we were thinking we had two “scrimmage dates”, regardless of how many teams were in each one. So the EH/WC scrimmage date was 1, then the Blackman “date” would be 2, then the jamboree doesn’t count as anything. I guess the individual teams count as 2 instead of just 1 date. They need to really clarify that better.

From some of the videos I seen it looked like several starters either were out or didn’t get videoed much. Crockett seemed to have a good group of linebackers and seemed to tackle well. Good luck. As long as the team is executing we’ll come playoffs is all that really matters.

Yes that is so true. Several several several years now our jr high has run the same offense and defense as the high school. I’m not sure the style we run now in high school will be easy for jr high and below to comprehend. It has a lot of moving parts which all tell the offense what to run.

That is true. I’d rather see them play with own age group but if they aren’t gaining anything then by all means move them up.

Do you think it hurts you or helps you? Or does it even matter either way?

I know you guys always play 8th graders. Do you not have a junior high/middle school team that plays other schools in the area?

Based on film he was the difference maker in my opinion. He’s a tough kid.

Oh I bet. You guys return a lot. You have pretty much your entire line back, and with decent size. You still got your OC, right? Unless the HC is just a bonehead, I think you will do better than you think.

Bledsoe has the workhorse back in Cadillac. If he can find some lineman to run behind they will do okay. York has slowly gotten better so this game could go either way.
