What’s going on with the turf? I’ve been hearing complaints about it that it should have been replaced it years ago

In Knoxville the game is supposed to be on now on MyVLT and they are showing a infomercial

All these years so much talent at South Doyle.Enough to not only go to State yet win it all!!! And every year they fizzle out in the quarterfinals.Maybe they are happy with that but I think total garbage.I'm at a loss for words but disappointment yet again this year.I guess you can be like Gibbs and hang your hat that you blew out Central a few weeks ago.Enjoy watching Central or West win State >:(

So so tired of hearing about the race card all the time.If things don’t go your way then boom there is it.

I like 6 classes but too many weak teams get in but that also happens in Illinois where they have 8 classes.

You get teams like Gordonsville & Whitwell with bad records who stomped schools with great records so records mean nothing.

Truth is they didn’t find a darn thing but other schools could be in trouble

When South Doyle was having many years of bad football it was because many guys who were supposed to play there didn’t.Some played at Alcoa,Fulton,Austin East & Maryville.All those were the hot teams.Fulton is down because some of those kids are at the above mentioned schools minus Alcoa or Maryville.I don’t understand the rules.A Maryville resident in the Daily Times newspaper recently ripped both Maryville & Alcoa for getting players in there from other schools.This has been touched on,argued & debated for years on here.Dad & Mom have their financial situation change.Can’t afford to send their football playing son to private school.Transfers then has to sit out?? Yet kid from Seymour moves in to “be with sick granny” Doesn’t know what is wrong with her or anything.Goes to one of the best football teams in the state.Automatic eligibility

Nice try but the truth poindexter: Two games of the 2019 Bulldog football season have been cancelled due to lack of participation. A meeting was held at Red Boiling Springs High School with Principal Don Jones on Friday afternoon Oct 11th to inform people of the status of the football program. Last Friday night’s game against Clinton County, KY and the game scheduled for this week (Oct 18) against Hart County, KY have been cancelled due to a lack of players on the team. The game against Pickett County on Oct 25th, which is a district game and is scheduled for homecoming, is still scheduled at this time. The final game of the season against Clay County, which is also a district game, is also still on the schedule. Principal Jones indicated that both of the final two district games will be played if the team has enough players. According to Richard McWhirter, Assistant Executive Director of the TSSAA in charge of football, there are two procedural events for a member school to participate in a football season. One of these events would be for the member school to sign contracts to play with other TSSAA member schools in the classification designated by the TSSAA. According to the TSSAA those contracts usually have a forfeiture fee. However this fee is negotiable between the two schools and can range from $0 to $2000. According to the RBS administration there were no contracts with the Kentucky schools therefore there were no forfeiture fees.

King's played better than I thought.Hats off to them but a loss is a loss.No moral victories or we made Jesus proud.Bottom line is your had a chance to make a name for yourselves & choked to a team that will be lucky to win 3 games at best.Whether you lose 60-0 or 15 to 14 the loss is the same.King's will be lucky to go 5-5 and lose in 1st round of playoffs so 5-6

King's has a lot of good, young talent and a great Coach.Seymour will win 45-21.King's is talking about going to state.I love the enthusiasm!!! Would love to see them win it all.I remember as Harrison Chilhowee they got crushed by Red Boiling Springs.They will be lucky to go 5-5.Seymour? 3-7 or 4-6 at best.Scott Gaylon quit on them but he is a assistant coach there now?

I know South Doyle had blessings from the local Native Americans to call themselves the Cherokees as did Sequoyah High the Chiefs.With both schools they did a big to do with ceremonies and at South Doyle a young girl came up with the Indian logo.

Good for the community.Did they ever play? The people there are nice.We all laugh about the 666 prefix for their area phone.Macon people like RBS and joked years ago during their great run that they should let their 3rd stringers play for RBS.It would help RBS to into the playoffs back then and get those guys some playing experience.It was only a joke but we all collectively were like hmmmm lol

Anyone have a JV schedule for them & or know how things are going over there? I heard they are delayed/issues with Turf.I’m excited to see how it will go over there with the Lions.I’m guessing they will be playoff eligible next year
