Your DII is off. baylor is by no means an unstoppable team this year. i would say Ryan is the favorite with so many 2nd and 3rd place guys returning.BA behind them and you have to give credit to their coach for turning that program around they didn't lose many wrestlers this year. Then it's a toss up between McCallie and Baylor. No team out west will ever win the duals so CBHS will not be a surprise team.

don't know what game you watched father ryan didn't look impressive at all. webb was down by 3 late in the fourth and were running the ball down ryan's throat until they fumbled. Webb's o-line was so much smaller than ryan's it looked like some of them should be in the secondary and father ryan also had trouble moving the ball against the same small defensive line. the next 3 games will be very long for the irish if they play like they did against Webb. not tryin to bash ryan but thats just the truth of it.

Well your right Father Ryan students are catholic but last time i checked pope had around a 40% catholic rate in their school. maybe because the only parochial students they get are st. joseph's and they recruit out of all the Sumner county public schools but thats just a thought. anyways if they couldn't beat ryan last yr with tate and a decent o-line they won't this yr. only way it stays close is if ryan shoots themselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties.

Is that the same class that duncan showed after his finals match or the heavier young brother who after his state dual semi final match against Father Ryan when he mouthed off to Pat Simpson when they shook hands after he only won by 1 point?? now on the other hand Zach Goss is a respectful wrestler who while the young brothers ran their mouth after the semi final lost at state duals, Goss went over and congratulated and shook hands.

your predictions for the DII are completely inaccurate many of the wrestlers arn't even in those weight classes. like ward for McCallie isnt in the 145 weight class and Darius Williams is at 189.

I was at the finals match between Bateman and williams and bateman wasn't himself. Even he said he wasnt himself and that in no way makes CBHS a stronger team. Furthermore wrestling is just as much an individual sport if not more than a team sport.

Yes the Irish did win every close match but most would not have been close if the big red wrestlers hadn't balled up and stalled on bottom. There could have also been pins for the Irish if their had been a quick ref as you said. you were right when you said that the Irish wrestled hard however after the first couple of matches it wasn't close.

The officials were very good this year- stalling calls were consistent as were calls on the edge of the mat. The score could have been a lot worse for MBA from 152-189 the MBA wrestlers didn't try a lot of offense and the RYan wrestlers looked frustrated by not getting pins and bonus points. and to cbg i didnt see much rolling over from the irish wrestlers.

the score in my opinion didnt reflect how much the Irish were in control. the Irish had 5 straight wins from 145-189 and it seemed they were frustrated because they couldnt get the major and tech decisions because MBA did a good job of stalling. Perfect example was the 160 match and 171 match the two MBA kids never tried an offensive move. overall it was a good win for the irish with a lot of momentum heading into state duals.

Yes many of the Irish wrestlers' shoes, clothes , and personal belongings were stolen however the thieves were caught on camera.

B: Very observant of you to notice that Baylor isn't McCallie, however MBA didnt have to face Cooper from Baylor who i believe will have another big game. He's an explosive and powerful back whom I wish well when he arrives at Rocky Top.

McCallie also didn't play a lot of their starters in that second half performance by MBA. Baylor's big RB will have a big game- Baylor by 10+

Games are played one at a time and the only thing that should be discussed is Ryan vs. Baylor. i think the Irish have a pretty good shot against Baylor as long as they can control their running back. You try and wish the Irish well and root for them and then you turn around and run your mouth about them. since you like to bash the Irish i think i'll do the same. From what I hear, Harding was the better team but once again pope got lucky in OT.

MBA's quarterback issues will be a bigger factor than the battle in the trenches. as I said before if MBA can't make Ryan's defense respect the pass, then they will have very little success running the ball. On top of that Ryan's O-LINE has been impressive, therefore I would also pick Ryan's line to win the LOS battle.

If MBA loses to Father Ryan then they will not make the playoffs.(which isnt very hard to do in D2) Although they might beat Baylor, I don't think they can beat BA or McCallie to give them 5 wins.
