I do not believe he was named the DC on that staff.I think he probably was not sure as far as to what to do with Rankin leaving.Job Security is big,and the weight room guy is usually the 1st to go.I am not sure he ever really wanted to leave Riverdale.I think he was just looking to make sure he had a job,but I do not think he was going to be the DC.I think he was going to coach LB'S and do the weights,but I might be wrong.I wonder if he and Britton still talk??

All that man has done is win football games.Now if he wanted to come to Oakland you would love it.I know it has been said that he lost focus on the kids when he was at Riverdale but I think this year he coached those kids at Alcoa like he did from 90-94 at Riverdale. I think he got his blinders on after winning that first one and he did not care about anything other than winning that GOLD BALL. I think he would tell you that he made a mistake over the last 11 years at Riverdale treating kids the way they are supposed to be treated. Is it just me but those girls look they have been conditioned in the offseason with weights. They all look like they could hold their own. I hope it pays off for them.

That is no worse than Goodpasture throwing fade routes and running bootlegs in the fourth quarter against Lewis Co. after having a big lead. That is impressive. Dickson Co. has a great opportunity this week, they get an opportunity to beat an average Riverdale Football Team on their own field. Riverdale has so many distractions this week I don't know if they will be able to get focused enough to beat an undefeated Dickson Co. This should be a great football game. This is going to come down to who lays it down first. I don't have a pick for this one yet. Riverdale players don't forget that there is a football game to end this week that all of you need to play in. Dickson Co. was the last to beat Riverdale on their own field and would love the opportunity to do it again.

You are obviously just going off size. Verge is OK but Goree is very overrated.
