Come on Spud, RESPECT? FC kids were twice the size of TC kids and we busted the in the mouth all night. Everyone says, FC offense could never get anything going, that's because we were keeping them from getting anything going. FC had some good atheletes, but they weren't all that everyone had pumped them up to be.

Congratulations Jackets! That was a dominant performance last night. All we heard all week was how good FC was, number one in the state, "Mr. Football" candidate, best defense in the state. Pretty impressive team when you're racking up stats against Macon, Pickett, Jackson, Red Boiling, but they got hit in the mouth last night, early and often! McNeals quote in the Democrat last week was that TC defense was "SOFT" this year. Wonder if he still feels that way? I spoke with the Tennessean reporter last night and were talking about FC is undefeated, #1 in the state. I told him that a fact that was being forgotten was that TC hasn't been beat in the state since the 2007 season. Take away the out of state loss and we're 20-0. Regardless, as I told him, we are the defending State Champs and rankings mean nothing in week #6, week #15 is the only time the rankings count!

This year's team has been solid, but they definitely not our best team ever. It will be very difficult to find another team that could play with our 97 - 98' Back to back state championship team or the 2005 team.

Neither does SC having "John Elway" for a QB make you world beaters! And there's one thing for absolute sure, if SC were to go undefeated during the regular season, by quarter finals, they'll be watching like always. Couldn't finish the deal with Rankin or Maynord. Friday night will be knock down drag out, but it's only 1, non-region game and it's not for a "Gold Ball"!

The reason Watertown doesn't get the respect is in the post above. "MJ Christian is a win, RBS is a win" For no more than they've ever proven, they're pretty cocky. So they beat us this year, that's great, but they still have some games left that could be lost, ANY of them. They started bragging about this time last year too, and then had the same old result. Beating TC does not guarantee you a spot in the playoffs, you have to beat several others too.

Who have you heard from TC talking big? Most on here will tell you quick that we are way down this year. By the way, where are you from?

Seay was our tailback (and a good one) he dislocated his knee Scruggs was the starting qb and a Sr., had to have elbow surgery right before the season.

No Tacola Seay won't play. He said he is done for the season. John Scruggs told me Sunday that he is done for the year also. He could probably come back now, but he's sitting on a baseball scholarship and doesn't want to risk getting hurt again before baseball season.

I spoke with Tacola (Seay) last Friday night before the ballgame and he said that it didn't look like the Dr. was going to let him come back this year. He is still on crutches. You're right, it appears on here that we all hate each other, but if Hartsville isn't playing GHS or SC, I'm always pulling for them and keeping up with what they are doing.

I don't think that's true, unless it's happened today. My daughter is a Senior cheerleader at TC and she hasn't said anything about it. That would be big news here if it were true. Talked to Clint at the Jr. game Tuesday night and he would've said something if that was the case.

It probably will be a long night, defense or not. We have "0" offense. Everyone loves to hate us, but it's been a looong time since we've had a really bad year and we're due. So we fully expect everyone to jump on hard, but that's cool, we've got big shoulders, we can carry it.
