Rockwood Lady Tigers

Rockwood has to be one of the best teams in East Tenn... ( my opinon ) According to one of the players... they have only lost one game and that was to Kingston... so i think the schedule on this website may be incorrect. And if I am not mistaking they are the #1 team in there district. Come on give these ladies some credit there working hard this year... if they keep playing like they do they might just end up at state... Good luck Lady Tigers

In the Anderson Co tourny they Lost to Seymore, Anderson Co and Oak Ridge. The lady Tigers are undefeated in their district and have a very impressive win over CAK. The games that I've seen them play they look like a solid team.

They now have an impressive win over Alcoa, too!

Coach Donna Young and her assistant (sorry, can't remember his name) must be doing a pretty good job with this talented group of ladies!

Anyone know what games they have coming up this next week?

Corey Bach pitched for Alcoa. 5 Innings, 5 Runs, 4 Hits, 7K's, 3BB, 1 HB, and 3 Errors were made in the field.

no offense ladies... *me being friends with many rockwood players* but the game would have gone the other way if brittany was pitching... sorry...

I agree, Rockwood has a very solid team, but Hollifield makes a big difference for Alcoa. Without her they are average, with her the are pretty darn good. Rockwood may have still won, but i guarantee Hollifield wouldn't have allowed that amny hits.

The Knoxville News Sentinel said Hollifield pitched the game against rockwood and that it was only her second loss of the year. At any rate jaketsfan... can we ever get any credit for a big win. We also played and beat , undefeated CAK earlier in the same week. We arent the best team out there but we are young and getting better all the time.
