Memphis Lady Elite has a bid to Nationals as well. They qualified earlier in a SRT in Illinois.

Have the Tennessee Elite or the Memphis Lady Elite played against either Shelbyville or Team Pride? Just wondering how those matchups have been/would be. Is Team Pride so much stronger this year because of their 12-year old addition? Or because of the coach? Or did they get several new players? In past years, their performance at the state tournament has not been stellar--just wondering what happened to make them jump up so much in everyone's predictions.

11u Tennessee Tornadoes has a great group of girls. I think they have suprised alot of teams that underestimated them this year. This team has played Softball together for 3 years & this is the first year they have played Basketball together. The whole team plays both sports with NO PICK UPS! All of these girls are from Overton County & they are atheletes from top to bottom! Everyone will see these kids again not only in AAU but in 3 years all of these girls will @ Livingston Academy!!

Looks like only one team going to state will not advance, based on the above and from other posts looks like the Voyagers will be the only ones not going to Dayton.

I was just about to post the same thing. You beat me to it.

 

Tn sent 7 teams last year and it looks like at least most of the same 7 are going back. I'm got to go with most of what everybodys been saying about the favorites. The West Tn Tigers are a no brainer for 1st. Shelbyville and Team Pride ought to be 2nd and 3rd but the Pride could knock off Shelbyville for to get to the final. After that who knows.

I was thinking the 13u Memphis Lady Elite would finish better than 5th. I have heard they have lost some players but from 1st to 5th?
