So, is Coach Crabtree really that unhappy at Beech High School already? Word is, that he wants to join Coach Bledsoe's staff at Dickson County for this upcoming season.

I would hate to see him go b/c I think he doing some good things but I would understand if he left.

I don't know what the problem at Beech is but they have a big one. They had very little talent on the varsity last season and the freshmen looked really bad in the only game that I saw them play.

Topknight and Bama 4 Life have heard the same thing He wants out of there bad, may realize that station camp has really hurt the program at Beech it was hard enough to field a good team when they had two middle schools feeding them it is almost impossible now. I know from speaking with Coach Aric he thought he was fighting a loosing battle. No knock against the kids they are good young men.

Remember, Arric sat out his star player last year due to some off the field issues. He only played in half of the games before being disciplined. The same guy either won or came in second for the 400m at state. He should be back with the team this coming up season.

 

Station Camp has really hurt the Bucs. They never had good numbers and now they are even less. With the growth of the Station Camp area look for some rezoning soon. Either that or some additions to the new school.

Rezonig is a given with Hyde gone Bills plans to rezone Station Camp properly. No more strings being pulled for H-ville. The plan is to let Beech have some of its zone back and take away from H-ville....Bluegrass. The neighborhoods close to Beech by the LHB Church will now go back to Beech. I look for this change to be in place by 06'. Station Camp area close to Gallatin is booming and will be able to support the school without much bussng from out of area within 3-5 years.

 

Gallatin's northside will be back at Gallatin by 06' too it looks like.

 

I think Beech should get back to a decent team in 4-A though.
