MT. PLEASANT TIGERS

Just wondering what everyone thinks about the Tigers this upcoming year!! From what i hear there is still a lot of talent and are getting much stronger again this year!! But also there are some question marks on some spots that need to be replaced from last! But overall i think this team will be VERY SOLID!!

they should be good central destroyed them in the passing league game but it was great experience for the players to have. they wont face a team like columbia in their region so they're good to go.

Mt. Pleasant may have alot of talent. But they are not disaplined enough to handle teams that are. I mean Mt. Pleasant lost alot of seniors that were very good last year. They could have went all the way but there coach does not disapline them enough to do it. But if he starts, then they will have a good year.

They had enough discipline to comeback from 10-0 deficit to Moore County and score 55 unanswered.

Discipline wasn't going to help them against that DCA buzz saw last year. Good luck this year, though, since they don't have to face DCA.

With Mike Lyle calling the shots anything is possible... I dont know how they kept him from La. Monroe. We are still trying to figure this one out everyone thought it was a done deal. thumb

Ok Mr. Insider, Coach Smith did a great job and the record they had speaks for themselves. Check out Mt. Pleasant's record the prior years before he got there.

Obviously you have not followed MP football over the past 10 years or so! They are much more disciplined under Coach Smith!! True they did lose some good Seniors last year, but they have good talent behind them with a good looking Senior class coming up this year!! YOU'LL SEE!!

I do admit, Mt. Pleasant will have a good team, there is no doubt! And yes they did have a great year last year compared to the others. Coach Smith or whoever ran up the score in every game no matter how bad they were winning. Even when the opponents would put their JV in! But yes i know that he had to be a good coach to have the record that he had. Who are all these GOOD seniors everybody is talkin about that ya'll have. I know yall lost like Dugger, Webster, and alot of the good seniors. I just dont see how Mt. Pleasant is gonna make up for all of the players they lost that started and had a big impact on the game.

Just hide and watch! We ain't rebuilding we're reloading! Team will be bigger and much faster. More weapons on offense to spread the ball around more. Dugger is back this year he was a jr. last year. Line averages around 280. Roderick Whitaker is legitamate D1 prospect at Linebacker and loves to hit. No one wants to hear anything about running up a score, it didn't happen. They guys that you claim ran the score up are the front line players this year so expect more of the same.

I don't know how good their team will be this year, but they can keep the jungle rockin with those officials they have there. Those guys really give them a home field advantage.
