Top 5 Linebackers

Who do you think are the top linebackers in the state this year? Linebackers that play smart, hit hard, etc.

Chris Mosby and Dustin Lindsey are the best two that I can think of.

Lawhon, Valentine , Kimsey and Caylor from Maryville will be one of the best units in the state.

Shane Adams from Blackman for 5A. He won some kind of NIKE camp in Mississippi a couple of months ago.

Collinwood should have one of the top linebacking corps in the region maybe even the state. Some of them will be Jacob Dixon, Zach Stults, Jamey Brewer, and Wes Butler. thumb

I think in our are Bryce Wilbanks and Sean McCormick. They just have a head that finds the ball.

Charlie Mobryant from Meigs County is one of the top linebackers in the state. He may not be considered the best this season, but that is only because he is a Junior. As a soph. he had around 125 tackles, 5 ints., 9 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries. Last season he was 6'3" 190 lbs. I haven't seen him this summer, but I would have to think he has gotten bigger, stronger, and faster.

I have seen the LB from Blackman and he will be one, if not the best linebackers in the state. Good feet, pretty fast(ran like a 4.7 or 4.6), strong, he will be the one to watch along with Butler from Riverdale. thumb
