KWalker4 ... just wanted to tell you hope your Dad is feelin better ... he was a big part of my growing up when I was in school ....

Thank you so much! He is actually doing better & is waiting to be released from the hospital right now. He gets to go home with an IV & home health will come administer his medicine each day until he is well! He's excited to get to leave the hospital! I'll let him know you're thinking of him!

TAD - Dad is doing some better, but you're exactly right - he is chomping at the bit. I just hung up with him on the phone & it is killing him that he is not at practice. He's never missed like this before so he doesn't know what to do with himself. He said Rob told him you had been asking about him. Thanks for checking on him. I can guarantee he will be back out there as soon as they will let him. The recovery is just slow & he has very little patience when it comes to this. Thanks again!

On a more serious note, I have no idea who he is, nor do I know what the situation with KWALKER4's Dad is, but prayers from me and my family in Northern VA for him! I hope he gets to feeling better and gets back on the field soon!

 

I lost my Dad in March of 2004, and I wish I could have him back on the sidelines to see me coach and my youngest boy play.

Anyone who wants to talk non-football issues, no matter how important or serious it is. One thread may not seem like a big deal, but what if everyone on here wants to start talking to their buddies on this or that about everything but football?

That's not my username but I was asked to keep the football forum on football topics, as a moderator, in addition to trying to keep down the player and coach bashing, vulgarity, etc.. I didn't just delete it or close it, since it's a serious issue it sounds like.
