Congrats to Baylor, Science Hill and Greenville. AND Nick & Co.!!

Back in the preseason I predicted that Bundy would win the re-match. You do not get away with beating Bundy. Nic will work his butt off until he can beat you. what Im saying is if you beat him you are good, then he is going to work on things until he can get himself in position to beat you the next time. you can beat Nic but you better get ready for the next match. Ok some of you are going to say Bo won twice well he won once in folkstyle and once in freestyle rules. Nic is one of the best folkstyle wrestlers out there. Give him some time and he will be one of the best around. If all wrestlers only thought about doing the routine he does they would be good also. Hats off to Nic and good luck the rest of the season.

Bundy Usary match was much closer than score. I t was a great match, on each takedown Bo would appear to have the takedown and somehow by the time they landed bundy would be on top. Very fun to watch!

It's was a close match... except that the 2 points scored were of him being cut away from bottom.. and he was almost stuck in the last 12 seconds of the match. Usary is a phenominal wrestler and I don't think Bundy would be as good as he is today if he had not lost last year in the finals, that gave him the push he needed to be great. He was unscored on the entire tournament, congrats and good luck this season Bundy,

Maybe Monday. I met some great folks there. I really liked talking to the JPII folks. They have lots of freshmen looks like a program to watch out for in the future.

I,will be glad to see some coverage. The Daily Times, and the Sentinel seem to be asleep @ the switch zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Why is it Wrestling only get's coverage during state tournment time. I would like to see a box score or something! I did'nt see Sunday's paper but I herd only the top four teams got any mention, and not much there either.

Well enough of that, Wresling is too exciting of a sport to be left out of the press day after day!!!!!!!

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
