He may be right, but that still has no effect on his looks............ :thumb:

You guys are very touchy about some crtical comments about UT, even when the comments are in all reasonable peoples minds, true. I am a UT fan, but I get so annoyed with the offensive side of that team,,,,,and it goes way past the OC.....it is the head coach.

Jon meant that the best coaching "POSITION" was at tennessee. Not that Fulmer is a great coach.

Gruden may be right, since you can coach poorly and keep your job......best position to have. Job security is good, long as you only lose two a year. Heck, not even a top ten team anymore, year in and year out (unless you count the preseason, ought to be good, look at all the talent, best recruits in the nation, on paper opinions) until the third game of the year and the gators are biting.

Davies looks less and less like a moron as the loses pile up for the vols.

LOL...you amuse me...two losses and they're now referred to as piling up!

Davies is indeed a moron...

If the definition of coaching poorly is to be a consistent top 10-15 program and have a National Championship under my belt...

SHOW ME WHERE I SIGN UP!!!

VERY possible........I hope Tennessee loses Saturday versus Alabama and to Notre Dame and they might possibly lose to Vandy and Memphis.....So they could have 4 more losses coming and that would be hilarious............:o

First, Tennessee is not going to lose to Memphis or Vandy...so dream all you want.

Second, if Tennessee recovers and beats Bama for the 10th time in 11 years they will finish 10-2 including the bowl win...

And all you nay-sayers and doom and gloomers and haters can remember where you heard it first.

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
