I think McMinn pulls out a win. Hopefully they can get some players back from injury for the 1st game of the season. Trace McDermott will have 100+ yards rushing.

McMinn and Chatt. Cent. will play this Friday night in Chattanooga for the first time in over 15 years. McMinn is coming off of a dissapointing 3-7 2004 year while Chatt. Central had an even worse 2004 season. So the question is who wins and why. Well here is my 2 cents worth, I believe McMinn will win because they will be the better football team on the field and they have a message to deliver to the area teams that last year was a fluke. Now don't go jumping to conclusions they still have a long way to go but they have shown me in this pre-season that they are improved over last season and that they will battle you to the very end. I suppose only our eternal father knows how things will unfold for the 2005 football cherokees but one thing I do know is that they have already experienced the depths of losing one of there own and a football game is exactly that a game and a game that they will compete in each and every Friday night.

I think this will surprisingly be a good game. Chatt Central's defense didn't look too bad against baylor, but their offense could not move the ball until the end. McMinn has shown some improvement so far in preseason, but I think both programs are rebuilding so should be a good game for both. McMinn by 3.

reaction, I'm basing my "big ones" pick for this one solely on your prediction. It's a toss-up to me. You'd better be right!

I think McMinn wins this one cause the Cherokees are improved since last year. McMinn has a good fullback in Trace Mcdermott and a good wingback in Keith Melton they will both have a good running game against Central and the Cherokees will start the season off with win!! thumb
