Never did head the ball much in soccer. And wes, maybe bias towards franklin, but never once have i said that i thought they were the best team in the county. Just am making a point that i dont believe that BA is. so therefore i have plenty of logic. and with that how can you make that statement about neone, because you of all people know about being biased towards one team

Wes, I told you this would be fun, although I am a bit dissapointed that Reb declined to play very much!

Never once have i said anything about about "unfair advantages".  i simply stated that a game against BA and any other wilco team has only occured in the first week of the season.  Have them play later in the year, and more often instead of once every two or so years and go by that.

 

Talked to a close friend up here and word is that Becker is most likely out for 4 weeks.  But with this tough young man watch for him to come back sooner, but hopefully not to soon as to hurt himself worse.

I'd love to see that schedule take place, but it could only happen if those folks who did think there were unfair advantages change their minds, and welcome the DII teams back into the fold with open arms. Not too likely.

 

Hope Daniel gets better very quickly. He's a big part of that Ravenwood team, and deserves to have a great senior season.

I am beginning to see what you are saying with the "unfair advantages." not dipping into that pot becasue i know nothing of anything. Either way with all of this argument, there is no way of knowing but it is obvious that Wilco posts one of the best counties in the state of tenn all the way around. whether D1 or D2

 

And there must be some diehard fans for people to vote for fairvew

Wes, you know I don't post all that often so I rarely try to get involved in these bickerings that occur over public and private, but.....(and yes I realize this is a very long run-on sentence), have you gone to a game yet this year? I didn't think your schedule allowed you to, but maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. And along those same lines, have you gone to a game ftballkicker or fhsrebel? Just seems that if you haven't actually seen the team play it kinda makes it hard to judge the teams. I dunno, just my opinion.

Havent been to a game yet this year but have seem all three of Franklins game films this year so far. And i was alos fortunate enough to watch BA in their first game against whoever it was they played live on tv and also a film of them against Ravenwood. Will be lucky enough to travel back to franklin this week tow atch them take on a very week Father Ryan team but glad to be able to go back all the same

You "don't believe that BA is" (the best team in the county). That means that you have plenty of opinion not "logic".

 

I do not know if BA is the best team in the county. I think they are better than Ravenwood this year and I think they were better than BHS in 2001 and 2002. I am an old fashion scoreboard kind of guy. That means I am willing to concede that we were inferior to Fairview in 1970.

I only declined to play simply because I haven't been around a computer. Now I shall decline to play because Rebelguy has a great point. I haven't seen a game, so what do I really know? Then again, what did I really know when I had seen games?

 

I know you all know it, but I just want to say it again. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the Eagles. I wish them well... no matter how "good" I think they may be.

And guys, everyone knows this is all just in fun...for fun. I've seen so many of these guys play together and against each other in Pee-Wee, Middle School, etc, and in every sport in the county that I have nothing but love and respect for all these kids.

 

0...number of wins Franklin has against BA in history.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any Williamson County teams in action this year. If there had been no head-to-head matchups between the squads, I would have been much more reserved in my comments. Since there have been, however, I believe there's a solid basis for comparison.
