Oh, I agree that you should have scored more than 20 points. That just shows that Centennial's defense really played well, all things considered. Centennial's offense was really, really poor. Dane Baron made just bad passing attempts and Father Ryan really had their way with him. On top of that, Centennial's punting gave Father Ryan a short field all night long. It was just grueling to watch Centennial try to score. They were in a position to cut into Father Ryan's 6-0 lead with what would have been a 37 yard FG attempt, but instead opted to go for it and run the exact same play as they did the play before! That ended up as an interception in the endzone.

There are certain players for Centennial that simply had no heart going into this game. I liked how Father Ryan had chants for the whole team; it showed that they were a "team". I hope Centennial can pick it up next week against Dickson Co., because if they don't, the chances for making the playoffs is slim to none.

a really good time to be a fan/alum of D2 schools....mccallie took alcoa and their ut running back and florida state tight end to the end, mus is doing what riverdale has been doing, mba is mba, cbhs has straight balled against some "powerhouse" memphis schools, jpII and ryan are definately good football teams as is briarcrest, oh yeah and baylor has a future hall of fame offensive lineman as head of football operations..talk about a school with a bright future. when ensworth gets rolling, D2 games may start getting picked up on ESPN Gameplan
