BIG region game friday night at The Cape in Chapel Hill as joe Byrns makes the trip in a battle of 2 and 0's in region 5 1a. Whats the predictions going in? I have to stand by my Rockets but man will it be a game. Byrns coming off the big win with east and the Rockets had a bye week after the 6 to 3 victory agianst Cascade. Region game of the week IMO.

This will prolly be the region decider right here. I think it should be a good game, but i think Jo Byrns will break it open late. They are extremely psyched after beatin there biggest rival East Robertson. Which by the way Forrest lost to 41-7, but the score was deciving it was closer then that. I think if Jo Byrns keeps there heads on straight and just doesnt go out and have a bad night against anybody they should finish regular season 10-0. I have alot of respect for Forrest i look forward to playin w/ them but i have to go w/ my team JBS all the way baby!!!! I think the score will be sort of the same as east vs. forrest, but mayble alil closer.

The east game was a game gone wrong for forrest. They lost their punter in warmups, and their back field in just over a half. i cant remember the score at half (yes i need my stat ladies) but forrest was winning or down by 3. I'm not making excuses (Tico is the man, carlos and all) but it MIGHT have been a little different if we had Todd and Johnson or Hill. I don't see a blow out but its hard to put a score on it. So I say the winner wins by no more than 7 points. Joe Byrns have a safe trip down.

You might be right, because really my score prediction is more of what i hope it will be, u know what i mean. Nothing against yall but i would love to beat every team we play by alot, but it wont always happen. Yall were losing 13-7 at halftime, and yalls running back got hurt in the 3rd quarter and it looked like things went down hill from there. Like i said the score was deceiving. I expect a great game from forrest your a good team, and will prolly be awesome when yalls freshman are seniors. Thanx for ur wishes on the trip down to Chapel Hill, it is a long trip, but we like to use the time to meditate on the game. Hey whats ur # so i can say sumthing to u at our game. You seem like a great guy, with alot of good sportsmanship. Unlike alot of ppl on this site.

How is yalls running back, I was there at East when he got hurt and I never got the followup on how he is doing and I was wondering if you made it to the East game on either Friday or Saturday night.

didn't get to make it with work and all. Johnson (the rb) is fine and ran for the only TD of the game agianst Cascade. As to a post earlier I'm not a player just the TV voice of the Rockets but I will be in the pressbox and would love to say hi to ya. I really don't see the blowout othes are predicting. I still go with Forrest in a close one.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.

      No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.

      He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
