What do u think is the biggest Rival now in WilCo?

Ravenwood & BHS

or

Franklin & BHS?????

i think it depends on who you ask... i personally think the brentwood/franklin rivalry is still the biggest. it's the oldest and it's always been a heated rivalry no matter what. ravenwood has just started to get to the level where they can actually compete with brentwood over the last year, and that's big for them. over the past year or two the ravenwood/brentwood rivalry has gotten bigger, and it's definitely gotten to be almost as big, if not as big of a deal as the franklin/brentwood rivalry. either way, both are always exciting games and tomorrow night brentwood vs. franklin should be exciting.

thanks BDD... but you are gonna see me lining up at linebacker this game. It should be a great game though. I know what franklin brings to the table each and every year, and just because they lost to Father Ryan doesnt mean that they are any less dangerous as a team. I know these guys and they will not roll over and die. Look for a great game everyone and good health to both sides.

Wow, cant believe this game is here. Wish i could be there, first one in quite some time i wont be able to be at. There is so much respect between both teams, and so much hate between both student sections, wait even through the parents too. Good luck to my Franklin boys. Go out tomorrow and play with everything youve got. You will never forget your last game(possibly) against Brentwood, i can promise you that. If you go out and play with everything you have and dont leave anything on the field, you will be able to walk off after and hold your head high. Look forward to hearing some good news tomorrow night

I've noticed that too, and it's a shame. The guys who are throwing down on the field are friends off it, have played together on various ball teams throughout their lives, but the ones who don't play put a rough edge on the contest. I wish the people who "sit" would feel the same way as the people who "play."

Good luck Chaz-between you and McCurdy we'll probably have the two best left-handed pitchers on the field not playing baseball in the county! i'll try to catch you after the game.

I am disappointed in the Bruins (other than Chub) for not even posting ANYTHING this week!

I can only imagine how this game is going to be tonight. I still cant believe its not for the top stpot in the region. Gotta tip my hat for ravenwood though, although i still think both teams should have and could have beaten them, but thats beside the point. Good luck to everyone tonight and my the best team, or the team that plays the hardest, win

    • Same with Eisfelder from Providence not even getting a look in DII 1A.   But to me the biggest head scratcher is Collins from Lookout Valley. He wasn't even voted the best pitcher or player on his own team, a team that lost like 20 baseball games. Mind blowing.
    • Whispers abound suggesting that Robbie Atwood has been observed surreptitiously shadowing the erstwhile football coach on numerous occasions. Does such conduct align with the standards of acceptability?
    • Is it conceivable that BJ West will maintain his ardor if it necessitates forgoing attendance at his progeny's culminating year of scholastic endeavors? Such a scenario appears implausible upon closer scrutiny.
    • Wartburg heading to state for the first time in school history. Braylen Melton (sophomore) threw a 1 hitter today against North Greene.
    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
