I really like those last couple of posts.

If you will remember everybody said, "No way WB beats Soddy", and then it was, "That was a fluke, under no circumstances will WB beat Ooltewah". (96% picked Ooltewah)

I, like the GovMan, look for the Gov's to rebound nicely tonight.

It will depend on the offense getting back in gear.

There is certainly a lot to be gained in this ballgame.

Maybe they didn't exactly rebound like you and GovMan thought they would. That rebounding might get even harder next week at the ship!!!!!

Papa,

Call me a fool ... I've tried to keep away from brash predictions ... but I really don't believe the WB / Farragut game will be as close as people think. I know that rings fairly hollow after taking a whuppin' like we did last week vs Maryville ... but humor me. If I'm wrong everyone can jump on me Saturday morning, but I think Blount will make a major statement Friday night. I don't think any of us at WB have gotten over the "touchdown that was taken away" last year at Farragut. We're going to make sure "1 td" doesn't make a difference this year.

Looks like the Govs got thier wish....."1 td" was not the difference! It was closer to 3 td's plus a field goal.

I hope their season doesn't spiral down from here!

Farragut is physically HUGE!!!

    • How did the scrimmage with Central go?
    • I’ve said it all year coalfield isn’t the same team as the last couple years. They have 3 really good players and another pitcher that throws low to mid 80s. Other than that, everybody else is average at best. You could make the argument that their lineup was the worst out of the 4 teams in their region tournament. Oakdale is really hot right now and playing well. Greenback was the second best team there. Wartburg was hitting it well but limped into the tournament with their center fielder being hurt and their best pitcher not being able to go on the mound for them was killer.
    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
