knightsfan2006
I would have to agree with macdaddy and bobburn. Ricky Lumpkin is a hoss!!! The boy is bad, he is 6'3 1/2 255lb. The boy plays like a man possessed. I would have to say myself that he is Mr. Football for 4AAAA!!! PLEASE watch your language. Thanks VG Edited October 10, 2005 by VolunteerGeneral

VolunteerGeneral
For 4A back, I`d say Ricky Borner QB for JCM or Adam Milligan QB for Hardin County.
hchsfootballplayer
Charlie Rose, defensive end out of Henry County... Not 100% on stats but i think maybe top 6 in west tennessee in tackles. 6'3 about 220 very good fundamentals and very good football sense has to be mentioned... Rebelz
Ryan Tallent runs a 4.4 and is just as powerfull as he is quick has great cuts and acounts for probably 90% of maryvilles total offence with the inexperance at QB. he does a heck of a job since he is the only returning offensive starter! K Deuce 54
(I'm really going to stop doing this) Karl Rogers from Tullahoma as of game 6 had 38 tackles 19 assists and three sack. 9 were for a loss of about 25 yards (And most tackles are on crucial 3rd down plays.) As of last night the stats aren't in but had at least another 5 and 5 night with a forced fumble. (Also plays both sides of the ball every series) Not Mr. Football though- needs a Defesive TD!!! Correction- As of game 7 for Tullahoma, Defensive Tackle Karl Rogers has 44 tackles and 23 assists. He is 6'3'' 245 and can fly to the ball- why he has 23 assists and 9 for a loss of 35 yards!!! This was his first year playing both positions, was once a DE and TE where he had about 50 tackes his Sophmore season. Made the move as a sacrifice to the team. Lumpkin is a great player but one on one I would put my money on Rogers. Might get a chance to see in the playoffs. Would be a great match-up because Rogers also plays Offensive Tackle. macdaddy
Ricky Lumpkin last friday night had 9 tackles all for a loss with 7 of them being SACKS! On the year Ricky has 50 tackles and 28 assists. He has around 14 or 15 sacks! As for the tackles he has 28 of then for a loss! As for the kid from Tullahoma, would love to see both of them matched up in the playoffs! Ricky and the others on the front four have 52 of the teams 76 tackles for a loss! My vote, and I am a little biased is Lumpkin from Kenwood!

Good luck in the next 3 games. P.S. why aren't all teams tackling stats posted in the Tennessean. http://preps.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=PREPSFACTORY05&pubcode=&sport=1&season=2005&stat=tackling
bobburn
Rogers plays OT? So does Lumpkin, looks like these guys are very similar indeed.
