Henry Co. @ South Side

What does everybody think about this non-region match-up?

I didn`t even know they were playing. I`d say Henry County will win and from the sounds of it they aren`t playing as mistake prone as JCM right now.

I think this will be a close game. Henry county has a lot of momentum going right now but the key is gonna be if they can recover from injuries or not. I pick henry county to come out on top in the end.

I think this will be a good game. Much like the Henery co. Liberty game. SS and Liberty are pretty even talent wise. They both run they ball well also. I hope henery co. doesn't pass alot cause SS pass defense is one of there weak points. They gave up 300 yards to Fware. If it comes down to both teams running the ball and ball control game SS has got a chance. I do agree that SS is the underdog in this game. But they play there best ball when they are picked to lose. Looking forward to this game. Good luck to both teams. GO HAWKS!!!

Hey old friend. Now ya'll are in my part of the country. Southside will be much tougher than Munford. There could be an upset in the air if HC is lookong ahead to JCM.

What injuries are we talking about? HC seems to play good on the road. How was the home crowd Friday night? I have detected some concern about them. They better not be looking ahead to JCM.

I know one thing for sure. You better bring a crowd. It's homecoming at SS and the crowd will be huge. SS will play tough. I've seen them play and will play 48 minutes and their crowd will be loud and wild. Their students go crazy in the stands.

Yanker I think you are the only one looking ahead to JCM. And you dont have to start a new reply to answer every body's question and are you from henry county or are you just wanting to know everything about Henry County you ask about 5 questions in every post most of them not having anything to do with the game. O and i guess ill end in your favorite ending.. HC better not be look ahead to the JCM game... How about yanker worries about yanker and HC will worry about HC

Awww man please don`t compare yourself to Liberty. Do you realize that liberty`s 3 wins have come against an 0-6 Humboldt team, Chester County whose only win was against a winless Bolivar team, and they had to come from behind to beat a 1-5 McNairy team whose only win has been against 1-5 Adamsville squad? I`d give SS much more credit than that. I still think HC wins this by at least 2 touchdowns.

Just what seems to be your problem with Liberty? Surley you must also realize that Henry County had a very hard faught 10-7 home win over Liberty. So, if you pick Henry County by two TD's over South Side, then you might also assume that Liberty should be about a 10 point favorite over South Side.

 

South Side fans, I am not disrespecting your team at all. I do have a problem with the bias that a forum moderator seems to have against Liberty for some unknown reason. SShawks1, I think you have a pretty good breakdown on things.

Bias? That was my opinion. Did I say anything that wasn`t true? The fact is that Liberty hasn`t impressed me this year. If you have a problem with that then so be it. It is ok for moderators to have opinions too. If Liberty does something that changes my mind I won`t hesitate to say it. But other than a close game against HC in which HC could have had an off game, what has Liberty done this year? Please tell me and maybe I`ll change my mind.
