There must have been some problems at Fayette-Ware. Liberty is not that much better than the Wildcats. Coach Thompson has either lost some players to discipline problems or he has just run them off. Liberty barely beat McNairy Central last week, who lost to F-W.

 

Does anyone know what is going on with Coach T and his team? You would think they would have everything worked out by now.

The last second drive against McNairy finally woke the crusaders up. Coach Thompson has not lost anyone. Liberty blitzed FW on every play and got inside the head of the center and QB. FW ended with 5 total offensive yards. Also, the kicking game killed them. They have had a terrible punter all year and Liberty got him several times. The offense had a short field. NO OTHER TEAM HAS COME AFTER FW THIS SEASON! Everyone else sits back and tries to tackle them after they catch the ball.

You are absolutely right. When SS played FW, we blitzed and sent people after the QB the entire first half, and pretty much dominated the game. BUT, when the 2nd half came along, the defensive scheme was more conservative and they put some points up on us. So, basicly if you want to beat FW, just pressure the QB the whole game.
