What happened to Oakland ? NO WAY they should lose to Independence.

Oakland will have trouble vs. any team that can put up alot of points...they can't fill it up like some teams. Doesn't bode well when a team only scores 49 and still beats them though

Oakland is going thru a rough patch, just like all good teams do over the course of a season. Part of it has to do that they have pretty much been missing Shane Blissard and Drew Fann for the last couple of games, which really throws off Oakland's rotation when on of them is sick or injured. Like in years past though, Oakland shall rebound

Oakland will have trouble vs. any team that can put up alot of points...they can't fill it up like some teams. Doesn't bode well when a team only scores 49 and still beats them though

 

Like I stated in the other post, losing Blissard and Fann for a couple of games hurt Oakland all across the board. As evidence in some games, Oakland can put up some points when the situation calls for it. More often than not, a solid defense will get your farther than a stellar offense

no denying that Oakland can't fill it up like some teams though. The only team avg. fewer ppg is Blackman. Simply put, Oakland can't score like some teams. They just don't have the weapons. They make up for that by playing better defense though

Dont really think its the lack of weapons, moreso the lack of experience, Oakland has a lot of guys where this is their first year in getting serious pt. Oakland has never really been one to light teams up night after night (unless you go back to the Gerald King years), yet time after time Oakland has proven that an efficient offense coupled with a good defense produces results every year. Whats the good in scoring 70 points or so a game if you give up about the same ?

Well I knew it would happen......someone signs on as a member SOLELY to take pot-shots at Oakland. What a SHOCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I never could imagine that coming.
