Guys you all are not on a roll. You won 6 out of last 7 but the teams you beat are a combined 14 and 46. You lost to Oakdale. They didn't even win a game in Harriman's region. Get ready for basketball.

We lost to oakdale early in the season while we had a few key players injured and had we not had 35 penaltys for 200 yards we still would have won. I'm not blaming refs or anything but we beat oakdale all over the field just lost on the scoreboard. if 6out of 7 and playing hampton better than anyone other than cloudland on their home field doesn't qualify as a roll you dont know much about sports. Yeah it took us three weeks to get rollin Oakdale wouldn't beat us on their best night now , and North greene would have more than their handsfull with us. 6-4 is a great season for anybody especially in cosby where B-ball is traditionally where we are most successfull. So please forgive us cosby fans for being a little excited about going into the playoffs with a good chance to win wether anyone else believes that or not. Oh yeah all you people screaming stick to B-ball better get used to cosby football , because from now on after we whip yall in B-ball it won't be as easy to say wait till football cause we may just whip you at that too. Hey King good to have you back as much as your posts tick me off i've missed ya. Heck i've even been looking on the cloudland pages for ya.

This one reminds me of one a few years back. Powell Valley was a fairly good team, Cloudland was quite a bit better, some bad things were said on these boards and it turned into a war. Cloudland went down there and got into a closer game than expected, at the end of the game , the coach from Powell Valley told the Cloudland coach he would see him again, Well in a thousand years ,I never believed we would ever see them again, wrong, they beat Coalfield and here they come to Roan Mt. Its got a great ending , but just maybe,if the stars are lined up just right, history could repeat itself. Hampton and Cosby needs to play on a dry night and put all doubts to rest. Stranger things have happened. GOOD LUCK COSBY

i hate to burst the bubble of cosby fans and faithful. YOU DO NOT HAVE A CHANCE AGAINST HARRIMAN!!! they will win by at least 3tds. i am not trying to be rude or disrespectful but lets face reality. harriman has too much speed and too many athletes.

harriman 34

cosby 7

have you seen cosby play, 34 points would be a lot to put on this Dfence. Hampton is averaging like 45 points per game with probably the best 1-2 punch in the backfield in east Tn. they could only manage 22. I don't think you are being disrespectful i just hope you are overestimating harriman , and underestimating cosby.

Coach Shelton pretty much promised JC a rematch, not that I have anything against Cosby. This is a game that I would love to see.

old24eagle, I jsut do not know what to say. Do not compare your defense to being good just because Hampton scored only 22 points against you. You fail to mention that the torrential downpouring that was taking place made it hard for anyone to do anything. I was curious and did some checking, not many team sin this area that played in that soup did much scoring either. Your defense is one person, Mcgahan, I think that is right. This guy was everywhere and was hard to stop, but, One person does not make a defense. Pleas eunderstand me in saying that this guy was terriffc that night, and I thought he sstood head and shoulders above the rest that evening. But 34 points will not be hard to get against you all, North Greene scored 38, Cloudland 41, even Grace christian and West greene scored 26 and 22 points. Your wins come against down opponents, 18 combined wins by them. Your defense give up more than the offense scored?????On the other hand, Harriman wins came against opponents with 24 combined wins in their 7 vicotries, and they are averaging 19.5 points a game while giving up 15.3???? This may not be a big a blow out as people think, but 34 won't be to hard to get. I am saying high scoring affair goes to Hariman 34-26. Sorry, but facts are facts.

Oakdale 22

Cosby 8

Someone correct that score if I'm wrong but that doesn't exactly look like a game that was hinged on a couple of penalties.

Harriman has too much speed. Harriman by 28.

All these region 1 people need to remember what happened last year. Region 2 took out the broom. Not saying it will happen again this year. But atleast save the bragging until you win a couple.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
