coachfire37329
You seem to know alot about MCHS ball and no one from our school can figure out you are. When you have a younger sister playing on the 6th grade team for McMinn Fire then you should know more about McMinn and Central.

johnnyboy
My question is what is going to happen to the Lady Cherokees two years from now? When this group of juniors leave, there is not much left on the table. Last years middle school teams finished in this order 1) Englewood (all players went to Central) 2) Mtn View (all players went to Central) 3) Riceville (best player went to Central, only one went to McMinn) 4) Calhoun (all players went to Walker Valley) The top 3 schools this year should be 1) Englewood (all players will go to Central) 2) Mtn View (all players will go to Central) 3) Calhoun (all but one will go to Walker Valley and the one is a maybe) This spells doom for Lady Cherokees. Sounds like BAD news for the Lady Cherokees........but it seems they have brought it on themselves AA rules, do you know McMinn is AAA?? Might want to change your name to AAA rules.........just a thought. Yes I do know that McMinn is AAA........but am in no way affiliated with McMinn
maroonandwhite
Someone needs to start pushing their potential players to try out for the McMinn Fire or McMinn Lakers or some other extra groups on McMinn's side of the county. The only consistent hope for McMinn is AJHS and they lost the Starr girl last year to McMinn Central and the Buckley the year before to Walker Valley. With that said, McMinn has two strong years in front of them. Nila, Leah, Amy Jo, Dereka (?) are very strong and should carry them far this year and even farther next year (Murfreesboro). But the starters better stay healthy and help grow their younger players quickly.
johnnyboy
Junior High was pretty bad last year, i haven't seen them this year- but seventh grade team last year was one of worst I've seen so I can't imagine they are good this year. J_Rock44
No coach, AA rules is not talking about summer camps and such. He is alluding to something else I think. I agree with your last comments though, that coach shows he cares about the kids and the community and works hard for northern Bradley and southern McMinn area. You will not be able to work D.Tucker. THERE ARE GOOD PLAYERS OUT THEIR FOR MCMINN BUT THE COACHES ARE GOING TO HAVE TO START HELPING THESE TRAVELING TEAMS OUT SUCH AS MCMIN FIRE AND THE LAKERS. WITHOUT A FEEDER PROGRAM THEY WILL BE IN TROUBLE WITH GOOD PLAYERS. CAN'T COUNT ON ELEMENTARY COACHES OR AT LEAST MOST OF THEM TO HELP OUT. TIME FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL COACHES TO SWALLOW THEIR PRIDE AND HELP OUT..... THEN YOU WILL SEE A CHANGED. Can you please go one post without mentioning the MCMINN FIRE OR THE CENTRAL FRESHMEN TEAM?? So one minute you coach the FIRE, and now you have a younger sister playing on the team?
