Can Zach Helton Go?

It could be his last game as a senior....if he has anything at all he will play. I don't think any senior for either team with any heart or fight in them will sit out and watch this game by choice.

Bet the ranch Helton plays... possible last game for son and coach, no way they want it to end now, they are looking for a way to win.

Maryville will be prepared. I'm pretty sure that there coaching staff puts together a game plan based on a team scheme, not just one player. That's not to say you don't account for key players, but Maryville is to skilled to have one player beat them.

 

If he doesn't play, they may change some things, if anything, they probably will have to simplify it. Who know sometimes simple is better.

I think that Zach will play. The coaches at Central will probably give Kenny Cruze more reps as QB this week, just in case. No excuses. Let's play!!!

ok guys. so i was just kidding about all that zack stuff. i just heard that he was hurt and i just wanted to find out what the real story was. i guess i was just trying to start a rumor but im sorry. someone please fill me in on the real situation. thanks.

p.s. i didnt hear anything from a coach at central but i did hear from a central student that he was hurt pretty bad. all i know is that it is his knee. still, does anyone think he will be able to play against maryville?

Listening to John Boy and Billy this morning and heard Marc Packer's sports update. He said he had spoken with with Coach Helton and there are issues with a deep bruise and a knee. Packer said Coach Helton indicated Zach would be "limited" Friday night.

Zack is a really tough kid and I would bet the House he plays!! I Have known him for a long time and he wouldnt miss this unless his body just wont let him go

i guess some of you guys posting your rumors are hoping Maryville's defensive coaches are dumb enough to change schemes based on rumors ... Maryville has been around the block a time or two .. been there , done that .

Thats all well and good but when friday night comes I am sure Zach will play more than just "limited". All this is just talk though, none of us really know if he is going to be at 100% or not, we will just have to see.
