Rumblings indicate that Coach Alexander may be the next head coach at Mt Juliet. What do you think?

Not a chance!! It took Dewayne 3 years to build WC into what it is today. I don't think he'll leave his troops to go across the street to coach. Nothing against MJ, but I don't think that will happen. Besides, what is the deal with Crawford? He's a good man from what I hear (That came from several of his troops last spring). I wish him the best no matter what!!

I heard a couple of weeks ago that the administration had not followed through with some things they had promised & that there was a possibility he would be looking elsewhere. If this is the case, what a shame!! I don't have to convince anyone at WC what a fantastic coach he is. I know that he has enjoyed helping to build that program.

I haven't heard anything about MJ, but I did hear that he may not want to be in a head coaching position due to family obligations. I guess only time will tell.

I had heard rumblings of this from a coach in Gallatin that I know very well. DeWayne resigned last year and apparently isn't very happy this season. Also, remember that the hoops coach over there was 88 out the gate to Antioch last year before the good parents at Wilson Central got both of those issues fixed. Seems like we have an administrator at Wilson Central that doesn't like the "shine time" that Bond and Alexander have gotten. Plus, the guy is a near joke with this "dress code" he tried to get enforced over there. Come on, 16 year olds and their PARENTS staging very organized sit-ins, LOL. Sounds like a guy in over his head. I think someone over at the Wilson County Board of Education better make a move in getting a new adminsitration over there. Trust me, if they lose Alexander, they are probably back to vying for 4th place in that region. I hate to side with a coach over an administrator, but Alexander has earned his stripes over there way more than the principal has. Same for Bond. If those two guys leave, they will never replace either one of them. They had a good thing fall into their lap and one guy is going to screw it up for everybody. Most importantly, the good kids over there are the ones that are going to get hosed in all of this. If I had to give DeWayne any advice, I'd probably stick it out there. I think the WC job is better than the MJ job, even with a bad boss. He's built something special over there and really has a good thing there with good kids and good coaches. I mean, is he going to take Aric, Wes, Howard and the rest of those guys with him?? He's really in a great situation there, Kernagis withstanding. Plus, with all that's gone on, I don't think the principal makes it much longer there. His issues with coaches and parents are well documented. Good luck to Alexander if this is what he pursues, but there are only two jobs in Tennessee that make much sense to me for him to jump to, and one of them isn't open and the other one could be REAL soon.

Good job GWave1, those are the two jobs that would make sense for DA.

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
