Any more results from Battle for local teams.

Crockett was 4th, 1.5 points out of third. Paddock won at 189. Garrett (103), Beckett (160), Garmer (215), and Callahan (275) were all second. Nease (119) placed third.

Garrett was up 4-2 in the final with the Northwood kid with 15 or 20 seconds left when he was reversed and put on his back, and lost 7-4. He has lost 4 times this year by a total of 5 points, and should've won them all. Beckett was losing 5-3 with 48 seconds left against Carlos Brown of Northwood when they stopped the match because Brown was bleeding. On the restart, Beckett was on top and started going for it, put Brown on his back for 1.5 seconds before Brown reversed him and put him on his back for a 2-point nearfall and Beckett lost 9-3. Callahan was tied 2-2 with a guy from Christiansburg who weighed every ounce of 275 (Callahan weighed 192) and rode the guy out for the entire second period. Callahan was on top for the third, and the guy managed an escape, takedown, and pin. Garmer was just overpowered by a Christiansburg kid and pinned. Paddock destroyed the guy from Castlewood in the finals (Castlewood was surprisingly good in this tournament), and Nease wrestled gutsy all day to place third.

Will Haynes, who was unseeded for some reason, won at 130 for Tennessee High. Their heavyweight was third and their 171 was fourth.

And of course, Zeke had the Sullivan East results in the earlier post.
