I can agree with that...best WR I saw all year. Being a Riverdale fan I love our main recievers, Antwaun Smith, Phillip Stevenson, and Shane Rollins but Revel Coffey was on a whole nother level in my mind and he showed us that during the Riverdale vs. OR game the other night. IMO he was the star of the night or his QB Connor Gulmire because he made great passes to others besides Revel also. I had said earlier I believe Spencer Gulmire was a great player but it was Connor and Revel IMO who were MVP's for the 'cats (in the R'dale game) and won that game for the most part.

 

 

maybe UT should recruit Revel cause lord knows that they need some playmakers for that lackluster offense that they had this year

Golden Tate is the top prospect in Tennessee. How many other players are being recruited by Notre Dame, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, & Miami among others? This is a big time recruit like Patrick Turner was last season.

How about Lee Smith from Powell? I know that he has verbally committed to UT, but he is also getting serious looks from Virginia Tech, Miami, and many other SEC schools. That is pretty impressive.

Gaston Miller is going to get killed in SEC football though he's not big enough.

Not if they can't catch him :blink:. People probably told him he wasnt big enough for high school ball either, and he sure proved them wrong. Size does matter, but there is exceptions to everything...I have never seen any guys his size be like hall of fame status in the NFL but they are well capible of playing at that level. Just like that little guy who played with the Broncos for a little while last year, his name escaped me though, someone help me out! But if there are guys who can make it in the NFL at his size, surely he can make it in college at that size. Even if he is just a return man, whatever he does he will be successful at :)

Daniel Becker at linebacker and Adam Marshall at DB... He isnt tall enough to be WR and prolly could use a lil more speed... Tc is a good QB but there are so many talented ones out there u cant pick just one... TC could do with a little more size then he could go almost anywhere he wants... he is about 6'2 and 180 lbs... Compare that to Jay Cutler who is 6'4 and 225 lbs... but id recruit him and redshirt him... add about 15 20 lbs of muscle and he mite grow an inch.

Golden Tate better than Brandon Warren? I don't think so. Brandon had an early committment to Florida St., but had over 50 scholarship offers at the time. Every school you could imagine offered him. USC, Texas, Va Tech, LSU, Ohio St., etc... He's the #20 ranked player in the nation according to Rivals. If this Tate guy's resume is better than that next year I will be very surprised.

The biggest prospect in Tennessee would have to be Chris Donald. Has had an offer from nearly every school you could think of and is only a junior. Will be one of the top linebackers in college and is probably one of the top two best I have ever seen in HS (the other being Patrick Willis). Expect to hear big things from him in the near future. He will be a top 10 player in the nation next year. I guarantee it.

Why would anyone say Gaston Miller would get killed....He's bigger than Warrick Dunn and look how far he's gone...

 

i'm not positive but warrick dunn is about 6' 200lbs. not a knock on miller, but he is not close to dunn's size...the closest nfl comparison sizewise to gaston miller would have to be darren sproles. he is a rookie return specialist and backup rb for the san diego chargers. he played at kansas state and was a real stud there. i think hes about 5' 6" 180lbs.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
