Westmoreland won by 5 or 6 they played well in the 2nd half and JC didnt really match their intensity and didnt shoot well from the floor 2night. JC shot 4 free throws and made 3 Westmoreland shot 30 and made 25! Ther were more than 30 fouls called on JC to Westmorelands 12. NOt saying that its the reason y JC lost, the refs didnt make the free throws for them, but anytime you shoot that many more free throws than ur opponent when 2 teams are evenly matched its gonna help
lovethegameofbasketball
These two teams were evenly matched and it was an exciting game to the end. Either team could have won this game. One of the reasons Jackson Co. had so many fouls was that they had to foul in the 4th quarter to try and get possession of the ball and did in fact make a comeback in the end but ran out of time. Many of their fouls were intentional in the 4th to get possession of the ball. Westmoreland has been overlooked this year and will slip up and beat some teams if they don't come ready to play. They are still a very solid team this year and haven't been picked to win many games. However, they keep on winning and have surprised many teams they have played. They weren't even expected to be in the championship game of the Red Boiling Springs Christmas Tournament but they won all four games they played and won the Championship beating Trousdale County (another team that has been overlooked). Good luck to Jackson Co. and Westmoreland in the Macon Co. Tournament. There are some very good teams in this tournament. Should be a good one! Should be a good one! jc did not intentionally foul until after the 1:00 mark. agree westmoreland has 3 solid players, however, jc had 2 starters foul out with 5 minutes to go and another with 4 fouls in the 3rd quarter. good luck to both squads the rest of the way. kaeXo
Yeah might we played tonight, had a bad first half but ended up winning by 4. We held stenson to only 2 points in the first half and 6 in the 2nd equals 8. Reason it was so closed we had a poor shooting night from the field and made some bad decisions on some passes. Anyways, anyone have any updates on the Trousdale Co/Clay Co. game? Portland beat Jackson Co. by 10 to put JC out of the tourny. Hermitage Springs plays Westmoreland 9:30 P.M. tomorrow night (Semifinals) Macon County plays Portland tomorrow, 3:30 P.M. I think. Clay Co/Trousdale Co. plays East Robertson tomorrow night 6:30 P.M. (Semifinals) Edited December 29, 2005 by kaeXo
