Anyon eknow when the freshman season concludes in 7AAA? Will any freshmen get moved to varsity?

 

Tournament is apx. Feb. 9-12 to be held at Oakland. The White County Freshman

will be there for redemption!! I have to admitt there are some really good freshman teams in 7aaa hope these guys stick with will make the district really

fun to watch the next few years.

Maplewood's freshmen have all the ingredients: size, speed, depth, and excellent guards. And they are very well coached by Lawrence Haywood, who should be one of the next head coaches in Nashville. In their only loss, 6 kids fouled out.

ive been hearin some talk..people need to come to tha freshman game thursday with oakland and siegel cause i kno of two guys sayin they r gonna slam one...they go by tha names of tyler edwards post player and point guard brandon messick..so if tyler has a break away get ready and if oakland is leadin and brandon has a break away was tha little 5'11 WHITE point guard fly..buut spencer will prob be lead scorer in tha game..talent haha who says oakland doesnt have tha most

Oakland also beat Siegel and I watched that kid from Louisiana and he didn't really look as good as some people have said but he was still alright. Also Oakland plays Riverdale this thursday at Oakland. Last time Oakland was down by 10+ and came back but still ended up losing because of their slow start. I think Oakland has the most talent or Siegel but Oakland sometimes gets to a slow start because of bad decisions and turnovers.

He had a couple threes rim out that looked to be down but came out. His biggest presence is on defense IMO. Oakland was alot more cautious when he was on the ball. He hit the basket to tie the game up. We've all said he is raw, but has more potential than anyone else on the court. As he plays more organized basketball he will only get better. At the beginning of the year he never passed, (so said his teammates). He has already gotten alot better in that area as well as many others.

We get it already. He's a WHITE point guard. What difference does it make? I just want to know if he has talent.

Yeah there is a good chance of him returning to Atlanta to play ball. I heard he was moving there this year then he moved to lascasas hes a true talent. Him and Kerry Hammonds made up one of the best 7th grade tandems in Rutherford County history last year.

Jamal Hughes will be attending Oakland next year, this coming from his mother.

He plays good defense, but its not something that special. From what I saw it was no better than anybody elses on siegel. I agree there's talent but its raw.
