BigDogDaddy
First off, don't try and school me on 5A or anything else. I'm old school, when there were districts, regions and then state. There were no divisions, the best meant the best. Again, I asked you for the 5 and you only give me a possible 1. Who are your 5 in D1 that could beat Coffey? Zero in D1 or in Tn for that matter have beat Coffey last year or this year. He does not always wrestle the same guys, that is why his team went to FL. and Ky. He destroyed Henley(SH) and Evans(WB) and they are ranked in the top 7 or so in D1. It is unfortunate that there are 2 divisions and these guys won't face each other. Back to the Dempsy form Ryan match, granted a win is a win, but no matter how you look at it, 8-7 is pretty tight. Again, Coffey did not leave anything to chance, he stuck Dempsy in the first at Ryan. Since they will not face each other, all we have to go on is their common foes which leads me back to Ian Meridith. Remember him? He is the guy that stuck your Mr.Football,#4 ranked, state champ. He is also in D1 this year. Oh no, he could come out of no where and shock the wrestling community. The reason Coffey is not a top recruit? Hmmmmm, that's right, he is only a Jr. Don't get me wrong, Nick is good wrestler and football player. I am not trying to bash him, rather I am defending Coffey. Also, I am a BIG ORANGE fan, but who cares that Nick is the son of Fuad? Does that give Nick some sort of advantage? Fuad was a kicker for crying out loud. By the way, Coffey's dad played for the VOLS as well. I love to jaw. Courtney's dad is Otis Coffee and he played DE at UT and may have been there the same time as Fuad ... they know each other well. I didn't see JP II at either Fr. Ryan or Brentwood Tourneys...whats up with that?? I would like to see Ian Meredith and Courtney wrestle. Did Merideth or Lettner win at Brentwood? RamRod
MB, I must respond immediately because this is the most intelligent post I have read from you. You are correct that Farragut does not have the program of those mentioned, however, Farragut continues to get better every year dispite all of the coaching turnover. You should be proud!!!!! See you in Clarksville with the Chatt contingent. MB if this is the referee from the Bradley County area your Farragut boys might have a tuff time at State. Don't expect any calls to go your way. I know referees are never bias and never hold grudges, they are not human. LOL As the great James Brown sings "Watch Yourself"

LOL As the great James Brown sings "Watch Yourself" I would hope that Refs wouldn't get into debates on CoachT. If so he had good things to say abbout our young coaches and IMO- I'm to old/fat and out of shape to watch myself. I think our young men will be OK. Taxman
I do not know why I want to respond to this ridiculous topic for the second time. Guys, I have seen both of them wrestle. It seems that Master Blaster is Reviez's biggest fan, but probably deep down inside has his doubts, also. The stark reality is that there is no way Reviez could handle Coffee. You got a guy with Bubba Miller strength and atheleticism verses a very good high school athelete. That's it.

But the question was asked and I gave it my best answer. IMO- Reviez can beat Coffee and so could Ian M of ND. Ask anyone who has went against Nick in football or wrestling how strong he is. My deal is I really wanted to see that match-up this year. It would have been great. I think Coffee is great but so is Nick R for his 2 years on the mat's. If they wouldn't kill each other I'm sure the Farragut Coach could let Coffee know where he could get some mat time against or Beast from the East! MasterBlaster 1
Minwell (claskville) could beat him, I do not believe anybody in state could beat minwell Another Region 2 grappler sends Minwell home without the gold. Minwell was overrated. So is Coffee who should have been taken to overtime tonight. IMO- he wouldn't be in the finals in D-1. Reviez has dominated the McCallie kid when they met. If not, then he was at the same Tourney's and never made to the finals to go against Reviez.
