we lost tonight 62-50 to grundy co

tullahoma scored when ever they played hard and took good shots(or smart shots like actually using glass on a layup) it was also the 1st time in 8 years we broke a full court press

it seemed like to me that galloway was trying to find the right combination of girls

the freshman beat the eagleville jv 47-41 danae thornburg had 16 points

why danae is not on varsity i don't know

mjuhb,

I don't know if you want to answer this on here or not, but I will ask anyway. What is the Thornburg kid's fathers name? We used to live in Tullahoma and my duaghter was born there, we had a neighbor with that last name. I just wanted to see if it was them or not. I do understand if you chose to not mention it in this forum.

The Lady Wildcats need help now. It wouldn't hurt to bring a couple up. Didn't Hudgins plays with the varsity as a fr?

it would be alot better if the girls were thrown into the fire now instead of waiting until next year

she did play has a freshman the then i don't know what happened i think she was at tullahoma at the beginning of the year

I actually think it may be a bright idea keeping those girls down. They will get mor e experience and from what i've heard the coaches like how they play together and don't want to separate that by bringing some up. It doesn't help tullahoma this year but i think it may be best for the future. When is the freshmen's next game?....i want to see these girls again. :thumb:

macon 65 or 64 to 55 tullahoma i think but i don't remember the score

we were in the game for about 3 and half quarters sophmore kristen vance had a great game she had atleast 20 points(i think)

the only 3 problems i see

1 are center can't can't hit a layup she also doesn't believe in using the glass

2 subs: if we have the right combo of girls in the game tullahoma can be a effective team but ounce you of those girls comes out you can tell the level of play go's down

3 shooting vs passing: instead of shooting they make a extra pass or not shoot at all

the one positive we do have 2 or 3 girls that score in double digits

but IMO if we had atleast 3 of the freshman in the rotation we could actually start winning this year

will say this every post until it happensbecause thats the missing piece

Tullahoma is improving and that is a good sign.

yes they are improving it started at the end of last year and has carried over

the rotation is 4 seniors and 5 sophomores plus their is the freshman(1 freshman should be starting in place of 1 of the seniors) and chessor and brock the 8th graders at east

so next year we should win atleast half of our games and in 08/09 i think we will take the turn into a elite team HOPEFULLY

Given your extensive coverage of football and the apparent breadth of your expertise, I am inclined to seek your esteemed opinion on the matter: who, in your estimation, emerges as the favored candidate? Furthermore, since the mantle of head coach has been vacated, upon whom would you bestow the mantle of leadership?
    • Shoulders dad graduated for TC, and Kyle began his coaching career early on at TC although he wasn't there long. Shoulders would be a homerun, but don't see him leaving Macon anytime soon.

Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
