This is just my opinion. I think Humboldt gets "racked" tonight. Union City is led by Marquis Weddle. He is a superior rackballer. Union City wins by 20.

If I remember correctly...it was UC that was getting "racked" by close to 30 by Humboldt in South Fulton a week or two ago until Smith got hurt and a couple of starters came out...won the game by 10 but anyone who was at that game will tell you Humboldt just got hot and dominated...I'm sure UC is capable of the same thing, but I don't think it happens tonight...I'm still looking for a high scoring game...these teams run too much...Oh, and a player to watch out for tonight...I say Derek Sain has his best game tonight...He showed signs of life against Halls with the monster putback and wasn't playing as timid as usual...If he can keep that up, it does wonders for this team...

As far as whether Smith is playing tonight or not...guess you'll just have to find out at 7... :thumb:

I don't think they will get "Racked" by 20, but I think they may lose this time around. How many did Weddle score in the other 3 games this season? Does Humboldt have anyone that can remotely stop him?

Weddle scored 37 I believe at UC...since then we've been able to keep him from breaking 30...at Humboldt he had 24 with 6 3's...and in South Fulton I believe he had 12 in the second before getting hurt with 4 minutes to go...Humboldt has done a good job of keeping a hand in his face and denying him the ball...but he's still going to hit shots...you just have to keep them to a minimum and get him frustrated...

It's a tournament game, both teams are capable of winning. If Sisco Jr. listens to Sisco Sr., UC will keep it close and pull it out late. (And we all know daddy is running the show anyway)

If not, Humboldt will win.

Robinson can't handle Rose, Smith can't handle Weddle. It's just a toss up!

Of course, if they get the same referee (tall older guy with glasses) that called LC/UC game Monday night, he and his whistle will decide who's gonna win early in the game.

The game at Union City was UC 70 Humboldt 63....That is what I'm expecting this time...In these types of games the ball seems to get bigger and the rim gets smaller.....If it's high scoring I will be surprised.....

Union City will have to contain Smith..They did in the first game,he wasn't a factor....Union City doesn't get the amount of points put on them like Humboldt put on them in their last two games and I will be really suprised if they put over 80 on the Tornadoes 3 games in a row..Anyway,Shane said after the game(Humboldt game at South Fulton) that he was hoping to get another shot at them because he thought he had a game plan to handle them the next time they played...We'll see,I guess....

I said at the beginning of the year, actually after last season, that Union City would win the state championship this year...If they play to their full capabilities, they can and really probably should.....But,i'll tell you, other than the Bolivar's, Liberty's,Haywood's and Mitchell's Single A is stronger in this area than AA....Union City would have easily won the old District 13AA this year, but would have been hard pressed to get by Haywood in the region and host a substate game rather than travel to Memphis...Single A has got my respect after this season.....

Not so sure about Union City winning their old district. Crockett and Dyersburg are no easy match. Both of those teams are athletic and shoot it well from outside. Union City were it still in AA probably would had pulled a repeat of last year. Great regular season only to be beaten by Ripley in the first round of the region. Be happy u are in A. Much easier to compete without size down there than in AA.

Are you serious Westn...You actually think they would beat U/C...U/C is probably a good 20 points better than crockett and not to mention crock got the crapp beat out of them by haywood that uc see beat earlier this year, but i guess its not worth arguing about cause if you think that theres no hope for you..U/C tonight will win by 4

i believe that union city is going to show up tonight and and straight up stain on them humboldt boys. i mean its not even going to be close. Union is going to clown all over humboldt no questions asked. i dont think the fans understand on how much of a waste of money this game is going to be because there is no possible way humboldt is gonna stay in the game with marquis JESUS weddle poppin 3's from half court all night and with the Xman Xavier crashing the boards like nobodies business. humboldt aint even gonna get to touch the ball.

Union City: 64-1!!

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year. I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
