i watched siegel nation at the state tournament last year, and then i was convinced that they had the best student section in tennessee. But last night they were pretty lame. I do not deny that they had tons of students but they weren't that loud. Red Bank probably brought only around 60-70 students and they were just as loud as siegel. Maybe it's because the siegel nation is off the court some ways.

the nation has a tendacy to not be as loud when siegel is up and winning. if the game is close, or siegel is losing ... they show up in a big way

East Robertson always brings a very large intertaining student section to the games. They like to have conversations with the other teams crowd. Sometimes they over do it! But I gotta love the fan club.

If ya'll think Sycamore's fan section is amazing, ya'll should've been @ East's sub-state victory last night! Wall to wall maroon!!! They're loud and proud and the bring the heat! They help us cheerleaders out sooo much! They're on their feet and ready to go 20 minutes before the game starts and they don't stop 'til they've charged the floor after a victory!! we love our maroon maniacs!!! GO INDIANS!!!

I tell you what, I haven't been to many other gyms in the state but the Doghouse at Bearden is one crazy student section!!! At the substate game last night it was one of the loudest crowds I've ever heard for a high school game. It was pretty electric. It's hard to compare to other student sections because I havedn't seen that many. Hopefully they will bring the doghouse to the Boro and represent as they have all season long in leading the Bulldogs to a 19-0 home record.... OLAY OLAY OLAY OLAY!!!

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
