What about Don Woods of McGavock High? He started this year for the Raiders and was 2nd or 3rd leading scorer for them also. He has a nice jumpshot, but needs to get stronger and learn to not only rely on his shot but also his penetrating skills.

I also see everyone is leaving off Big Michael McAdoo of Antioch High, and Joshua Henley of Hunters Lane. This 2 teams wouldn't have gotten to where they are now if it wasn't for those 2. Hunters Lane only decent post player is Henley.

Pico hasnt gotten to play much this year but most people know why .. but if you watch him play he is one of the most intense players in middle TN.

Epps is the one of the most fundamental players also, he's awesome .. He played alot against Siegel on Wednesday

Kendall is just great he's gotten alot of playing time and he can do anything you need him to.

yea i tihnk dre and pico r great along with kendall but not jus not feelin eeps and never will...he just goes through tha motion to much...if dre becomes a better shooter he will be GREAAT and bout pico i just dont know if he will ever get to play as much as he could at oakland..jus because dre then freshman brandon messick already was pracitcin aloot with varsity when he moved up and i heard he was great in practice..so i tihnk he will be playin quiet a bit next yr

My Top Sophomores

Michael McAdoo- Antioch

Mike Williams- Antioch

#15- Clarksville

Shawn Kennedy- Montessori

Don Woods- Mcgavock

Tyler Cutter- Siegel

but overall the best sophomore in the state is Marcus Jefferson- LaVergne...

I believe he is LaVergne's best overall player on the team..big part in them going to the sub-state...1st or 2nd leading scorer, but i'm not sure....received all-district, and all-regionals team for the tourneys...he's really a joy to watch and i hope to see him play at the next level..

I'm not sure what year the Mason kid from Ridgeway is, but if he is a soph, then he is definitely one of the top in the state. Also the lefty from Mitchell. I have to agree with the poster that mentioned Jeremy Rhodes. He is maturing on and off the court and if he grows a little more, then he has the chance to be special!

Yeah...Rhodes DEFINITELY has the potential.
