Temple had them the entire game, then caved in. If you went to Murfeesboro last year you would have also seen Trenton-Peabody get lucky against Unaka, another East Tennessee team. Unaka had the game won, and made careless errors late in the game (i.e. running to the offical to call a timeout, without actually dribbling it...) Believe it or not, West Tennessee does not dominate Single A basketball, not like East Tennessee does football anyway... that was last year...humboldt and union city both dropped to 1a basketball this year...west tn runs 1a bball. out of district 14a come possibly the 3 best teams in 1a bball...humboldt, lake county, and union city. one of them had to lose for the other two to advance...uc beat lake county in a region game...uc and humboldt at the 'boro for the gold ball Edited March 7, 2006 by Fossil10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ER lost to Pickett and Grace easily took care of them by 19? our guys played hard that night-- just not hard enough. the entire team is pumped and the entire county is behind them-- they're not going to just lay down and give it to grace. they've become so much better ball players since earlier in the season when we played pickett. we'll give the eagles a run for their money and won't leave the borro w/o a victory!!! go indians!!! Yea everyone has a bad night and strange things happen in the 'boro. BUT these guys arent goin to just lay down for Humboldt or anyone else for that matter. Everyone of them are ALL basketball... you better believe that they will be ready and will play their hardest.... they arent goin to look at the sites.... they are goin to play some ball.... When the clock hit triple zeros,the west Tennessee teams were ahead...That's really all that matters....Again,sorry for not being impressed.... For further validation....I was at the state championship games...All I saw was West Tennessee teams...Three games,six teams,all from west Tennessee...If that is not domination,I really don't know what is.....
