RHS-Sisterlover4
Oliver Springs will be young next year how do you think they will shape up???
Cookevegas3
They do lose a handful of senoirs, but they do have experince coming back in Schultz, West, Wrinkle and little Carter. The upcoming JV players will have to step up, but they should be able to step in nicely. They should be a district favorite along with Wartburg and a region top 4 with Wartburg, Cosby, and Harriman. In the Region those 4 will fight it out with Onieda, Coalfield, and Rockwood as sleepers. All that being said, there are a lot of days between now and then and anything can happen. bballplaya24
How is Wartburg a favorite in the region..? They lose J Shannon, Nelson, Jenkins, and Melton. They have no scoring returning except D.J. Shannon.
bulldogs_2009
How is Wartburg a favorite in the region..? They lose J Shannon, Nelson, Jenkins, and Melton. They have no scoring returning except D.J. Shannon. Nelson is only a junior. Wartburg will have to work hard, but I really think they can do it if they want it bad enough. Cookevegas3
Wartburg does lose four seniors, but if they can find a solid post replacement in Melton and find a scorer for Jeremy, then they will compete. Nelson along with DJ will have to lead this team, but Bunch is a nice player at point. They may not be at explosive as this years team, but they will find a way to be in every game in the district and region.
Cookevegas3
If I had to rank next year's region, it would be as follows: 1. Cosby - have to replace Manning and Blakely but return Jenkins, Rone and Lowe. 2. Harriman - returns everyone from last year's team to make it to the region semis. 3. Oliver Springs - loses 6 Srs but returns experince players in Schultz, Wrinkle, West and T Carter. 4. Wartburg - Loses Shannon, Melton and 3 more but Returns DJ, Nelson and Bunch 5. Coalfield - Loses 1 starter in Brown and returns Gunter, Davis, and Justice. 6. Oneida - Loses 1 starter and returns Jacobs and Lambert to name a few. 7. Rockwood - Lost 7 or 8 Srs, but coach K knows how to reload. 8. Grace - Returns Slusher and a few others with a few Seniors leaving 9. Sunbright- returns all but 1 starter (PG) 10. Midway - like Rockwood, loses about 8 Srs with little experice returning 11. Oakdale - loses about 5 Srs 12. Greenback - will lose about 7 Srs 13. TSD - I know they lose a few as well. This is an opinion based on what I saw, please use this how you like. Maybe for the teams listed lower, use for motivation!!!!

bulldogs_2009
I agree w/ cookevegas3's rankings. But anything could change, all of these teams have a long time until the season starts.
bballplaya24
I also think they are pretty accurate. But Rockwood has to be higher than 7th and Harriman should be better than Cosby
