I dont think that Clay is much better.They were great this year but they wasnt so much better than us.But they are one of the best rival groups i have ever saw.

Clay better be much better if they wanna make noise at the boro.

It seems like any District 10-A game is full of hate between teams, but it does seem to make for better games.

Grace vs Temple

not many single a schools are going to bring 2500 people to a game.

Rivalries are made over time, not in the span of 1 year. When all the chips are on the table, these teams play some of the best games in the state.

 

I agree with you. That was ignorant on my part. Temple and Grace are like that also. Before this year Temple dominated the rivalry. So yes, it is built over a number of years.

 

And to "the boom", Clay better be a LOT better than Pickett if they dont wanna get embarassed in the first round of the state tourney. Im sorry, but Pickett was not very good. I know Grace is a good team, but they DOMINATED Pickett in sub-state.

Look at Alabama-Auburn. Bama owns that series but yet, it is one of the best in the nation.

Union City and Lake County is a rivaly. The schools are separted by thirty miles but the tention can be cut by a knife. This rivaly is like duke and north carolina. The school can stand one another but they respect one other. It is a big basketball rivaly.

Cosby vs. Rockwood is a good one not the best but it doesn't seem to matter if one team is having a down year its still a good game come tourny time.

 

It would be Cosby vs. Cocke County but there would probably be a riot thats why they don't play.
