I would say that one of the best staffs ever was the Overton staff of 1981. They won a state championship and i believe coutras had then ranked 11th in the nation. there was a lot of talent on the coaching staff. runtheball, weren't you on that staff.

The staffs I was on were Terry Anderson, Steve Harris, And Jim Fuller. The other was Doug Mullican, Wayne Bush, Steve Peden, And Jim Fuller. Another good staff was Hillsboro in late 80's, Terry Anderson Maurice Fitzgerald, Paul Brunette Terry Shrader, Alan Vierra, and myself. When Coach Dunn was at Antioch the staff was Ronnie Wilson, Jim Oversteet, Alvin Jones, and Bill Whittaker.

What year did Jeff Gooch play? He has been in the NFL for awhile now...does anybody what team he is on? He's been team hopping..

You said the rest are lucky to have a staff from that teaches at the school. Again, I agree that Ron has a very good staff, but you implied that the rest are not. What difference does it make where they teach? Do you learn a lot of football teaching at the same school? I can't say I ever became a better coach during the school day. And, by the way, it's competition not competion.

I see you are still pretending to be a teacher. Be careful.

No... I'm pretending to be an old retired guy. I haven't pretended to be a teacher in several years. I believe Gooch was at OHS in the late 80's or very early 90's. RTB...good calls on the Hillsboro and Antioch staffs.

tut is retarded if he dont think we got coaches here at pearl cohn i mean what do we have to do win another state championship cuz thats what we gonna do this year cuz we goin all the way

?????

Who r u and why are u runnin your mouth on this board. No one ever said that the PC did not have good coaches. It was asked of some of the better staffs over the years. Apparently you are a young guy who wants to brag about how good PC is. We all know how good the Firebirds are going to be. If you want to make some noise, go to the 3a board, otherwise get up on your knowledge of who has been coaching where and learn something from the old heads of the system.

How about the Stratford staffs in the 90's?

I. Bobby Leech, Larry Overby, Richard Campbell, Bubba Spears, John Moore

II. Bubba Spears, Richard Campbell, Ron Aydelott, Peter Pullen, Barry Potts, Matt Derrick

And they had a great principal in Jim Neely as well as the ultimate support of Mr. Buster Boguskie

Those were good ones. They had some pretty good ones when shadow was there, too.

I don't know how good PC is going to be in football, but if this guy is any indication, there English department is going through a down time. You need to stay off of here and go study.
