At this stage of the season, I'll take a boring game with 8 people in the stands- as long as it's a victory. :ph34r:

 

Since we've been far more successful at home than away, we need the home ice advantage. And as I've been posting before, we should pull for Colorado to overtake the Ducks for the fifth spot. The Ducks are on Fire and would be a very very tough series to win!

 

How hurt do you think Volkun is?

Is Leggy's "owie" legit?

Sully's injury has me VERY worried, as hockey groin pulls notoriously take a long time to heal!

Call me crazy, but I think we'll have a showdown with the 'Wings in the playoffs. Legwand, Sullivan, Zidlicky, Vokoun are all hurt. Look at that list again. That IS our team. Just remember too, in the series with the Red Wings this year, the home team hasn't won a game. Hopefully that will change on the 18th, since I'll be at my third Preds-Wings game this season!!

im not a big fan of hockey, so low scoring games arent what I wanted to see. I want to see a 15-14 game with 17 fights ;)

With Volkun out with blood clots, and Chris Mason set to man the pipes, get your tickets now for the First Round (Last Round) of the Playoffs.

 

Mason is adequate but he's no Volkun. He'll have to stand on his head for the team to go anywhere.

 

This is like losing McNair in the last game the year the Titan's went to the Super Bowl. ;)

 

Your right, seeding doesn't seem to be real important right now.

 

Terrible terrible terrible timing.

 

Get better Tomas Vol- KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHNNNNN

What a bunch of defeatists...... Last time I checked, Mr Mason has been playing pretty well...... And maybe this will lite a fire under our defense to not give up 40+ shots per game....

 

 

 

I'm much more concerned about getting Sullivan and Zids back....Our PP is weak without them and our goals are dropping...... I don't want Mason being a scapegoat if he plays well but we struggle to score because of injuries..... What is happening tonite against the Blosers....Mason playing well but we cannot score....

2nd straight shutout for Mase..... under 30 shots given up....... We find a way to score 3, give up less than 30 shots....I'll take my chances on how far we go in the playoffs....

 

 

 

Already bought my playoff tickets.....Already signed on for my season tickets for next year.....

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
