What kills me is that West TN has been much more successful in baseball than football and as successful as basketball and if you look at the online Jackson Sun you can still see all the football and basketball results even though they are over.

 

Somebody has forgotten that in AA West TN baseball has been the most dominant sport....

What is the Jackson Sun thinking?.....it would be nice if they considered softball a sport too but that may be asking too much. Just look at the CoachT articles from across the state...there's about 1 west TN article to every 10 from other parts of the state.

05 was USJ too....

 

Granted I know they got it stripped from them, but those kids still earned that championship. But now even though the Jackson Sun will mention them, there's always a negative conotation about the tuition issue. I'm not a fan of USJ or against them either, but they did win it.

 

It's also just about impossible to get them to show up at seniors signing days.

 

Another note I'd like to make is how poor of a job Channel 7 does. I honestly feel as tho they're biased towards only 1 or 2 jackson colleges, and certainly only 1, maybe 2 jackson high schools. i thought they called themselves the west tennessee news leader??? More like the wealthier colleges/high schools and anything positive pertaining to jackson. You tend to only see negative stories about surrounding cities/towns. just a thought................
